On my Eyes Today! ....A everyday wearable eye look :)) Enjoy

Hi dearies....I am totally upset right now....After reading the incident which happened to a Girl in India..I am so shocked...How can people do this....
Hmm..So, in order to get out of this bad mood, I thought to create an everyday wearable eye look..As I have packed almost all the palettes which I have...I used minimal products for creating this look...At the end of the post, I will update on what products I used....
Enjoy!!!
Forget my face...I haven't concelaed too...Just applied a lipgloss... :(

Products needed:

  • NYX Eye shadow Base
  • A black eye shadow(I used Shade Shine from Sigma Bare Palette..I got that single shade as a free gift from sigma)
  • Illamasqua Powder Eye Shadow Vapour on my lids ( A cute gorgeous orangey shade)
  • NYX jumbo pencil Milk as a highlighter
  • Black kohl Pencil- I used Lotus Kajal
  • eye lash curler and mascara
  • Q tips
Firstly I applied, NYX eye shadow base all over my eye lids to even out the area
Secondly, pat some of the vapour eye shadow on ur eye lids using a flat brush, using a fluffy blending brush, blend it upto the crease area...
Apply the jumbo eye pencil in milk as a high light to the brow bone...

Now, last step is, apply the  black shimmery shadow on the outer V and blend it using a q tip...:)
Now..last last step...curl ur lashes and apply mascara..I u want falsies, apply them...Honestly I dislike falsies... :/

Clean the area

U are done!!! thats the finished look...This look can be worn everyday!!!!
Hope you guys liked it....
I am not explaining  with step by step pictures as I find it very difficult to capture myself using my heavy camera....

I am still a beginner using camera...so , bear with me...
Hope you all liked this :))

See you soon guys...

A Simple DIY: A remedy for your under eye circles, fine lines & wrinkles

Hi dearies...
Today I am going to explain step by step on how to prepare your own product to treat your fine lines, wrinkles and under eye circles....

It is going to be a picture heavy post :) Enjoy Guys!

Evening Prime Rose Oil and Vitamin E oil

When it comes to skincare, natural is always the best. You might have noticed
evening primerose oil and Vitamin E oil as the key ingredients in almost all the anti ageing as well as Eye cream products available in the market.

Evening primrose, a wild yellow flower, also known as oenothera biennis scientifically, shows miracles in treating several skin disorders like eczema, acne, etc. It has a wide range of healing powers.

Evening Primrose Oil, can help you achieve great results without the expense and discomfort of many anti ageing beauty procedures that involve surgery, injections and other methods that have not guarantees and certainly do not promise lasting results.

They are rich in antioxidants and has anti ageing properties which help
Rejuvenate your skin, dramatically decreases fine lines and wrinkles, helps to smooth rough skin.
  • Helps hydrate extremely dry skin
  • Helps the skin to produce new skin cells
  • Aids in repairing the skin at the cellular level
  • Helps to lighten dark circles under the eyes, making them appear less tired and younger
  • Gives skin better elasticity by creating firmer skin
  •  Reduces blemishes and noticeable redness by evening out skin tone
  • Can help to reduce inflammation associated with skin disorders such as rosacea
  • Work to prevent the effects of ageing of the skin on the outside as well as on the outside
  •  Helps to reduce and lessen the signs of ageing.
How to prepare the mix

1)You will need 6 to 8 evening prime rose oil caps , cut open them using a pinted pin tip or scissor and squeeze the oil onto the clean jar as shown in the picture

  1. Now its the time to add Vitamin E oil, I use Body Shop Vitamin E oil,
You need 6 dips of Vitamin E oil, Mix it onto the prime rose oil

  1. Using a Q tip gently mix the ingredients together

Consistency should be thick.. it shouldn't be too watery kind

It should look like this below

    Your mix is ready....

    Now, the usage
you need to clean the face using a chemical free natural cleanser, most likely aloe cleanser and now using the Q tip, gently take very little amount and apply it in dots on the affected area such as around the mouth, nose and under eyes, make sure, you gently dab the product onto the area using your ring finger in gentle circular motions...

You can use it 10 minutes before application of your make up, make sure you use a tiny amount, or else your skin will look greasy, If you use tiny amount, It will get absorbed on to the skin very easily and within 10 minutes you can put your make up on...

I usually use it before going to bed, and soon after waking up(after cleansing, before moisturiser)

My skin feels really hydrated and velvety soft when I wake up each morning...and I really really trust this, you just need 2 ingredients, and it can save you a lot of money, It gives you the same results which your night creams give and it can be used to remove fine lines and wrinkles...It is good for under eye circles as well,

I am not asking you to skip your night cream routine, but for a change, try this an see the results for yourself...If you use it regularly, you can also prevent wrinkles as well as your skin will always be acne free as well as puppy soft, My husband also use this and he too liked it, you can see the result from the very first application

You can get the evening prime rose oil from all health stores, pharmacy, sainsbury, boots, superdrug, target etc

Don't forget to try this at home and tell me the results,

I highly recommend this to everyone, I have a combination skin and I found it to be very useful than applying almond oil or other oils alone...
You can either store it in fridge or outside...

    Quoting the steps again:

L'occitane Délice des Fleurs Body Milk

Hi makeupholics....How are you all? Hope you all are doing fine at the moment....
I thought to publish a blog post which had remained in my drafts folder :)
Its L'occitane Délice des Fleurs Body Milk

What Loccitane claim about Délice des Fleurs Body Milk

The Délice des Fleurs Body Milk keeps skin beautifully soft, supple and velvety, even in the heart of winter. Its nourishing light texture formula with grape seed oil and shea butter is quickly absorbs enveloping the body with the delicious and powdery fragrance of crystallised petals.

Packaging and Price
Price: 18.50 GBP
Size: 250 ml
Shell life :12 months
Ingredients: as in the snap
Comes in a beautiful plastic bottle as in the picture
The sturdy push top lid of the bottle makes it so easy to control the amount of product dispensed.
Love the idea of packaging

My views about Délice des Fleurs Body Milk

L'Occitane -'Délice des Fleurs Body Milk, may contain may rose and violet leaf absolutes, is enriched with grape seed oil and shea butter, which helps to nourish, moisturise, and soften the skin. Its fluid and light texture is quickly absorbed, enveloping the body with the delicious and powdery fragrance of crystallized petals.'

It doesn't make my skin greasy which I like, I blended the product really well onto my body and It got absorbed into the skin easily and it moisturised my skin really very well. The fragrance is very pleasant and made me smell like a bouquet of roses . It is a mild fragrance and the rose and violet aroma does linger a couple of hours after application.
It made my skin velvety smooth and nourished, I really like to use it on some days after taking a bath using Rose shower gel from Loccitane, and I would apply this all over my body and finish off with the solid rose perfume...Even though the perfume is not so great, It works good when used in a rose combo :)
I love the overall feel..I feel that salon spa kind of feeling after using all the roses products from Loccitane together... I use it on Friday nights which is the favourite day of mine....If you are going for a romantic dinner or any other special occasions, have this rose combo tried...It is amazing..U will feel so fresh and relaxed :)

I didn't notice any con other than the price...If you like the fragrance of Roses, You will love this :)

A List of Beauty Products that you don't need at all....

Hi makeupholics....Hope you all are doing great...
I was really busy with the packing stuffs...We will soon go back to India...and I have a lot of products to pack up...hmm..more than what the airline insists...Actually, I am planning to send some of them through DHL...hmmm
Lets...see...Today I am going to talk about a different topic...I have seen many beauty bloggers including me talking about Favourite beauty Buys...
Favourite Skin Care...Things you need everyday..and the list goes on...
Have anyone wondered about "Do we actually use all the products that we buy?"
I am sure this question will make you nuts...hmmm..Well, I surely say, my answer would be NO.....
Have you ever looked at your collection and thought about whether you own any products which you don’t need in life? The cosmetics industry would like for us to believe that we need every new product they come out with, but we really don’t! There are tons and tons of products on the market that’s nothing more than fluff so check out this list of unnecessary beauty products you actually don’t need so you can save your money and spend it on products you love!
I always crawl inside the Cosmetic shop like a child and pick up each product seeing the cuteness...Anything which is attractive attracts me...hehehe..sounds funny..hun...its a fact...So, I thought to share this post to make you aware of certain products which you don't need actually....
I am sure this post is definitely gonna help some of your pockets from emptying...:)

5 UNNECESSARY BEAUTY PRODUCTS YOU ACTUALLY DON’T NEED …

8 Unnecessary Beauty Products You Actually Don't Need ...

1. FOOT MASKS

Face masks are one thing, but foot masks are a totally unnecessary beauty product! Sure, we love for our feet to be smooth and soft but they don’t require a mask. If you take a pumice to your feet to slough off dead skin and moisturize on the regular, your feet should be in great shape. No need for a foot mask here, save your money for a nice relaxing pedicure instead!

2. LIP EXFOLIATOR

Our lips are an important part of our  appearance and as much as we love to highlight our dazzling smiles, a lip exfoliator is definitely one of the beauty products you don’t need. If you want to exfoliate your lips, try gently rubbing your lips with a towel or give them a gentle brushing with a baby toothbrush instead of investing in a pricey beauty product you think you need, but don’t.

3. TONER

Beauty experts might disagree about this item being on the list of useless beauty products and although it’s debatable, it’s definitely not a must-have beauty product. Toner was meant to pick up traces of leftover makeup or oil but most cleansers do an adequate job of doing those things anyway, so it’s actually unnecessary. You don't need a toner if you use a hot cloth cleanser..

4. NECK CREAM

Any cream marketed for a specific area like the neck  is totally a beauty product you can do without! The moisturizer that you use for your face is more than adequate for your neck so there is absolutely no need to get a separate product for each area!

5. ANTI-AGING HAIR PRODUCTS

Anti-aging products for our hair seem like a great invention to help us keep our hair looking healthy, but they’re actually part of the list of beauty products you don’t need. Hair products can moisturize and bring dry hair back to bouncy and beautiful, but there really isn’t much it can do to prevent your hair from aging. Hair growth starts at the follicle and hair on the hair shaft is considered dead so any product applied to your hair shaft can’t do much to prevent aging!
Is there any other thing which you think is useless????Share in the comments below....

Travel Brush set Haul!!!

Hi makeupholics....
Hope you all are doing good....Today I am bringing to you one of my recent haul from Ebay...I really wanted a small travel set...My sigma ones are there, But I was looking for a limited edition brush set which MAC launched in 2007..Ever since I read this post here, I really wish to get my hands on that cute golden brush set from MAC..I searched a lot in google and finally I found a dealer who ship this product to UK...

I first messaged the seller on how much time it will take to ship to UK and also whether the brushes are genuine..., she said it will take a month or long as its very strict in UK postal dept because of Olympics event...Customs is very strict about all the packages coming to UK...security is so tight that they can keep the packages on hold for several weeks..I decided to take a risk and u know, I got this item on the 5th working day which is super awesome..I didn't have to pay the shipping fee as it was absolutely free....
Now, The best part is that, the brushes are of high quality...They are awesome.. I completely adore them..I bought the face brush set....The seller told me that they are genuine ones and they were kept on a sale when I got them...
I got 4 Face Brushes :
168 – Large angle contour brush
 187 – Duo fibre brush
 194 – Concealer brush
 190 – Foundation brush

I have a regular synthetic brush kit from Sigma and I also have the Travel kit Naughty in Black from Sigma and also I have the full set of Real Techniques brushes, and I have a few elf brushes, BH cosmetics fan brush, Eco tools bamboo brush etc.....All those are big ones, which makes it very difficult to take during my long travel....or holiday..But  I absolutely love this small sleek set which I got....
Let me share the snaps with you all...

 187 – Duo fibre brush
I use this to blend my liquid foundation, mostly the drug store ones.......This is a stippling brush by MAC..But,I like the Sigma Kabuki F80 the most while applying foundation to get a really air brushed finish...
187 – Duo fibre brush

187 – Duo fibre brush
190 – Foundation brush
I use this brush to apply foundations....Sometimes I prefer Kabuki..and sometimes I use this one..It really depends on my mood...
this one is really good...my favourite brush from the set
 190 – Foundation brush

 190 – Foundation brush
168 – Large angle contour brush
I use this brush to apply blush to the hollows of my cheeks and also to contour my face and even when applying the highlighter...I really like this brush than my Sigma Contour brush which I got with my Travel kit and also I noticed, this one doesn't shed too while washing...
168 – Large angle contour brush

168 – Large angle contour brush

194 – Concealer brush
I use this brush to apply concealer and also I use this to line the inner corner of my eye area...
 194 – Concealer brush

 194 – Concealer brush

I really really love this full brush set..and I have also used i a couple of times...I washed them too...But,..I didn't notice any shedding....
They are really really soft on skin and they are so stylish....

I recommend these brushes to you

  •  if you are a beginner in makeup and would love to invest in a small sized version of ur favourite MAC brushes
  • if you are a brush lover like me...a total brush junkie who would luv to try different brands...
