Packaging is simple. I prefer the plastic packaging than glass bottles. This one comes in  squeezy tube which is super lightweight and easily fit in the makeup bag. Perfect travel essential.. Also, details at the back of the tube tells you about the coverage , texture and finish of the foundation and also a pro tip on application. Cool, isn’t it ?IMG_3302

My experience using L’Oreal Paris Infallible 24H Matte Foundation

Texture, Pigmentation & Coverage
Though I am generally a fan of dewy finish foundations. I really love the satiny matte finish that this foundation gives. This foundation is perfect for oily girls who need the oil control, Dry skin beauties should use a hydrating primer (there is a hydrating primer from the same range) underneath. The foundation comes in 7 shades. The texture of this is on the thicker side, So, If you try to blend with a buffing brush or kabuki- It’s very difficult and also brush drinks up too much product. But, when using a damp beauty blender it applies easily without any hassle. Coverage is medium to full. I applied two layers of foundation and it looked very natural, not at all cakey.

Longevity
I’ve been really impressed with how flawless my skin looks upon applying this.  It’s important to work in thin layers to ensure that it doesn’t go cakey on the skin. Also, make sure you apply a primer and prep your face well for foundation application if you gave dry patches on skin etc.  Even if it’s matte, I still set it using my ben Nye translucent powder. I was not expecting it to last the 24 hours that it claims on the tube, But I’ve been very happy with how my makeup looks after about 8-9 hours of wear. It’s slightly worn on the jawline area and also I noticed little bit of shine on my T-Zone area.  But on the whole without any touch ups too, my face looked flawless.

have a look at the swatches. Including my picture of wearing this foundation too.

Overall, a great foundation that gives a medium to high coverage. Coverage is buildable. This foundation is one of my favorite. Dry skin beauties should use a hydrating primer prior to application. Normal/combination skin people will love this too. This foundation sure does a good job of controlling oil on your face.
