In today’s post, I am reviewing 2 shades from the collection – Oh, Lady, Rich & Restless
How beautiful both these shades look!
Packaging & Price
Price : RRP $50.00; These new matte lipcolors come in 15 shades and are saturated, colorful and have a liquid-suede finish. Now, about the packaging – Comes in this glass tube with a flat, two-sided sponge applicator . Helps apply the color smoothly onto the lips. They start off liquid and shiny, and dry within a minute to a non-shiny matte finish- Absolutely love it…
Swatches & LOTDs
I am really in love with the formula. In one swipe you, get that fully blown color on your lips. The applicator helps apply the shade evenly. I prepped and primed my lips before applying these. The shades – Oh Lady , Rich & Restless are highly pigmented and they dry within a minute or depending on how many layers you have applied.
They just sit comfortably on lips without that stickiness or tacky feel. The staying power is awesome too. It almost lasted the whole day. You would need to apply a hydrating lip balm if you are looking to wear it for more time. Because, all long wearing matte formulas can be quite drying on the lips. The lipcolor, once dried doesn’t bleed, transfer, stain or move. Why I love it more than some of the other matte lip formulas – It’s just pure rich pigmented color that won’t feather on the lips. It has Colour-flex technology, which means you get even color that is long-wearing and, yet, feels weightless on the lips,
The consistency, application, pigmentation, longevity are all great and I love the colors I got. Reminds me of the MAC Rebel & MAC Crosswires lipstick.. I am definitely looking forward to add more colors to my collection once it is available in stores.
Keep an eye for them in stores on January 4, 2016. Available at all authorized M·A·C locations.
