My favourite Skincare Products

Hi dearies…..I thought of sharing my favourite skincare products of all the time..
I have tried many varieties of Body Shop Skincare products….The Body Shop Tea Tree range as well as Vitamin E range are the two ranges that have helped me actually improve my skin..Though I have tried Nutralift too, I am too young to use it; It is for people with wrinkles and other problems….I used the natrulift serum for the patches on my face, luckily it cured that…But as far as my age is considered, I think Vitamin E is best on me…

I always love Body shop products as they are very soothing and comforting….Their products don’t irritate my skin and I like them so much…There are certain range of Body Shop which I love..and Vitamin E fall to this category…

Apart from the kit I am also reviewing my other Vitamin E products too
Vitamin E Eye Cream as well as Vitamin E Facial oil to complete the whole Vitamin E productsfrom The Body Shop…So this is going to be a long post….hehehehe :)))

The Vitamin E range gives daily hydration and is suitable for all skin types. This kit of miniature products contains a complete regime. It will leave skin cleansed, refreshed and nourished with moisture.

Vitamin E Cream Cleanser 60 ml

Directions to use

Massage Cream Cleanser into skin with fingertips. Remove with cotton wool or a damp muslin cloth. Apply Hydrating Toner to the face using a cotton pad. Massage Moisture Cream and Nourishing Night Cream into skin after cleansing and toning.

My views about Vitamin E Skin Care Kit

The Packaging is soo cute..I like the pink bag it comes in…and the bag contains

cleanser,toner, moisturising day cream as well as night cream… I love them all

Let me start reviewing the product one by one…

Vitamin E Cream Cleanser

Ever since I started using this…I am love with this cleanser…I absolutely love it..love it..It makes my skin so soft and supple…Its soo relaxing and comforting to the skin and it nourishes my skin well…It improves the skin…Its best for dry skin….It has a pleasant smell and it doesn’t irritate my super sensitive skin… Only thing that I dislike is that it don’t take my makeup well..I will have to use a toner again to take them all..I have been using this together with other Vitamin E Products from Body Shop and I must say together they make wonders for your skin.. I have mixed reviews about Vitamin E products…But I always liked them as it improved my skin…

Vitamin E Hydrating Toner

I love this product..It takes away all the makeup which my cleanser didn’t take…and it too smells good and it hydrates my skin….My face feels really fresh after application of this ….I wash my face after applying cleanser and then apply this toner all over my face…..Unlike other toners its texture is different..and sometimes u might find it difficult to take the product using a cotton..U will need more product…so what I do is..I will take the product to my hand and I apply it onto my face using my bare finger and then I dab it using a cotton cloth….

I feel my face breathing fresh which I love… I use this daily in the morning as well as in the night… Believe me,..The toner as well as cleanser will last….I have been using this everyday since a month now.. and still I have plenty of product left in both the bottle….:) 🙂 Is alcohol-free too….

Vitamin E Moisture Cream

I like this product…its good to my skin…But I heard that this product is not good for sensitive skinned people as It might cause breakouts…But I dunno..It haven’t caused any problem to my skin so far..So..I don’t recommend this product to you unless you are ready fir a risk…

It smells light and it moisturises my skin really well..I use this after application of toner from Body shop… and Together with toner it do wonders on my skin..and It stays under my foundation all long day which I love…It doesn’t leave any dry patches on my skin…I live in area where there was dry winter….So…at that time this product really worked…and It got finished too..I haven’t repurchased it as I have heard mixed reviews..also..now the season has changed..So I m scared to use this :((( But for the same Winter I will surely buy this again…:)))

Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream

This cream goes on very smoothly and evenly, and it leaves skin feeling baby soft. I am using it along with my Vitamin E facial oil(review coming soon) It is not too thick as other night creams can be, I t has a fine fragrance and It doesn’t leave that heavy cream feeling on the skin. It absorbs to the skin quickly. It is Packed with Vitamin E to fight free radicals and protect the skin from environmental stresses, Glycerin to effectively provide essential moisture, Cocoa Butter to soften skin while restoring suppleness….As it comes in a travel sized jar..I have hit the jar…Now I need to purchase again…

Pros and Cons of Vitamin E Skin Care Kit

Pros

Comes in a cute pink packaging
U can test different Vitamin E Products before buying the full sized bottles
good for travel..
ideal as a gift to ur loved one or Mum

Cons

I cant think of any other cons other than the availability of travel sized kit in India…

Will I repurchase Vitamin E skin Care Kit

I will say that I won’t repurchase this Vitamin E Skincare kit…. As you get inly travel sized products…hmmm..:( I will purchase them Individually…may be the toner and cleanser…I will buy regular jars… Also..I will try other products too…Will keep on updating about it in my blog too..:))

My views about Vitamin E Facial oil

I love this oil..It has different uses…and Vitamin E products are anti oxidant products that will help the skin from ageing…This fact made me fall in love with Vitamin E products again….

I have oily T zones. and this product works well for me…Also during winters while going outside, I used to apply two drops of it onto my damp face….note: Dont use too much or else ur face will become greasy….

I love how soft it leaves te skin..Sometimes I mix this onto my serum as well as moisturiser and that way also..it works well….It makes skin soft and it is useful for people who have dry skin too…or those who suffer from flaky skin problem..I also..apply this onto my neck area..which will make the area super soft and smooth….I also noticed the regular usage of this facial oil reduced some of the acne scars I had on my skin…I noticed improvement in my skin tone..I also noticed my pores coming smaller…This product will last and its a must have product from the range I would say..Even though I have heard mixed reviews about it…Still I bought it because I love oils and especially for the people who live towards the south side of England, These products are a must…because we really have dry winters out here…

Pros and Cons of Vitamin E Facial Oil

Pros

Keeps skin moisturised through out the day..
can be added and used with your moisturiser
can be used on damp face
doesn’t irritate my skin
good aromatic smell, quite relaxing and comforting
good for fading slight acne marks( maybe newer ones) ppl with over acne…I dont guarantee the fading of that…
Good for dry skin as well as oily skinned people(oily beauties…no need of applying moisturiser if you are using this)
Lasts for a long time as u need only 2 drops for each application
The packaging is cute and it includes a dropper which will aid in taking the product without wastage…

Cons

Excess oil can make your skin look oily as well as greasy…
Price is on the higher side for some…

Will I repurchase Vitmain E Facial Oil

YES..YES…YES…I will surely repurchase this… as it is good for my skin…I will continue using this along with my moisturiser

My views about The Body Shop Eye Cream

I have slight dark circles around my eyes. So I was in search for a good eye cream..I have heard a lot about body shop products and so I decided to give it a try..I bought this online from here. I liked the way it moisturises the area under my eyes. I use it daily for my CTM routine. This eye cream appeared to be thick, but upon application, it absorbed quickly by the skin area. I got healthier feel around my eyes after application. I didn’t notice any visible difference in my dark circles but it did a best job in highly moisturising the area around my eyes. It has a lotion like fragrance and there is no spf to it.

Cons of Body Shop Vitamin E Eye Cream

Minor effects on reducing dark circles, fine lines, and other skin problems

Will I repurchase Vitamin E Eye Cream

I bought it for my dark circles problem.But it does nothing for that..So i think I don’t…May be to use a moisturiser for applying around my eyes …Yeah..i will..because it does moisturising job well…For my dark circles I will have to find another option..:):)
