Dearies and queen bees , We are today for another confession of a conceal-o-holic , yes that is me. The panda eyes refuse to leave me and so do I refuse to leave my concealer obsessions ,and yet again while on my concealer  whirl I halted at the BECCA compact concealer which has an innovative duo compact concealer in one pot a medium coverage and an extra coverage concealer, I got mine in the shade HONEYCOMB. BECCA the iconic brand that is well know for its iconic base and camouflage products has this little baby in their line ,which is a concealer duo.

Packaging & Price

Comes in the compact as in the pictures ; Price : 23 $ ;
The outer packaging is so sturdy and spells luxury . It’s made of that same rubberized material that NARS packaging comes in and has a metal plate on the top with BECCA inscribed over it ,I love the packaging it looks really cute with the name of the shade written at the back side  -what I really love  is it’s small and very compact, so it’s ideal for travel, and it has a mirror for application and touch-ups.

Shade: I got it in the shade honey comb which is not very strongly yellow toned, but at least it doesn’t look ashy on the skin this shade has a balance of pink and yellow undertones to it.As it is a close match for me, even tough my under eye is really dark :’( I use nc45 in the mac studio finish concealer for my under eye but for my face it is way to dark and yellow, but this one is bang on for my face ,only thing it turns lighter/little ashy for my racoon eyes.

Texture : This is definitely a drier consistency concealer, so to avoid any accentuation of dryness, I would recommend  it’s a good idea to moisturize your skin prior to its application , and also with use I also feel that it absorbs any oil or sebum on the skin

Coverage : the coverage is simply *superb* full, full, full coverage, without looking cakey, even tough in the under eye it might settle in to the lines at the inner corner (happens with almost all cream concealers) but that can be avoided by setting it with a matte powder.

Pros :
-I really like the idea of having two different coverage concealers in one compact.
-It’s very handy that you can have your product for under-eyes and spots all-in-one.
-This product provides a full coverage that doesn’t feel or look heavy on the skin.
-Comes in an array of shades, huge shades to choose from so finding a match is easy.
-Super long wearing.
-Doesn’t have a very creamy or melting texture ,even tough its creamy the texture is very light

Cons:
-The only con is the price $38 for 3 grams. For comparison, MAC Studio Finish Concealer and is also easily available if compared to this BECCA concealer.
So overall I find the price and the availability as a major con. Also for majority of us the dry texture can be a huge drawback .

Overall : I find this concealer best for spot concealing on the face or other areas, it is super full coverage and dries absolutely matte , and The “medium cover” works great for the under-eyes and the “extra-cover” works great for spots on the face, as they often need more coverage. The consistency of the “extra-cover” concealer is slightly drier, so it’s very ideal for spots, as it’s not going to budge/fade. It comes in a huge variety of shades (34 to be exact) to match all skin tones – from very fair to deep dark.. I really love it for the texture and longevity and only a little amount is needed each time so the product is going to last a long time.
