My experience using it
I use a spatula to scoop the product out. A tube packaging is available too. I love the strawberry smell as it’s not overwhelming or chemically scented. This is probably one of the only lip balms I own that can keep my lips smooth and hydrated for 5 hours after which one has to reapply. I don’t really have a problem with reapplying because I love using lip balm and the ways it feels on my lip. This lip balm doesn’t feel sticky at all. With this lip balm in hand, dry chapped lips is not a problem anymore…
Now, even if it moisturizes/hydrates my lip – If you ask me whether I will repurchase this product in other variants etc, my answer would be a big NO – What I discovered after checking ingredient list was a shock – “petrolatum” scares me…
Petrolatum is not a product you want to include in your natural skin routine when there are so many better alternatives. Petrolatum, coats your skin with a plastic-like layer and prevents it from breathing. When used repeatedly, it also can cause more severe problems as it’s derived from petroleum and may contain cancer-causing polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). This can cause the skin to age prematurely. Is that something you want to put on your lips daily? I guess you know the answer now…
