Do you smell spring in the air as much as I do š ?
Well you better ācoz I have put away my dark plumy shades of lipsticks for good right now and am in the mood to explore natural, rosey hues to work with sparkly gel liners or bright eye looks, so bright and typical of spring J It was by chance I happened to try on Please Me from the matte range as light colors+matte finish= usually a strict NO for me š so did it really end up pleasing me? š duhh! Would I have written the review otherwise!

Swatches & My take on the Lipstick
Nahh mac has changed its price only but no improvements/change in their regular range packaging -_- duh! I like it anyways though š matte black and silver tube with a tight click cap, easy to carry and touch up with.
The texture as MAC finishes go, is a tad drying but does apply very smoothly and evenly even on dry lips though it does fare better with a balm underneath. It has a tendency to highlight lip lines/dry patches which makes prepping and priming lips a must.
The color is a very dreamy, pretty mild muted rose pink which does tend to look a bit off on medium-darker complexions and tends to go a little pale sometimes without proper makeup but it can be easily solved by applying a slightly warmer lip pencil underneath or just a pop of gloss above it! *for reference see my pics*
The lipstick lasts for 4-5 hours at a stretch even though its such a light color and does not dry out lips if you have balm underneath š

- Black and silver MAC packaging , sleek and easy to carry with a tight click cap.
- Light, smooth matte texture which applies easily and fares better with a balm underneath J
- Muted very pretty rose pink which looks extremely fresh and sweet and can be warmed up easily with a warmer shade of lip pencil beneath.
- Lasts for a long time on lips 4-5 hours J
- Yummy vanilla fragrance.
Cons
- Increased price š” š”
- Tends to accumulate on outer corners of lips and accentuate fine lines :-/

Do I recommend?
Please Me is a gorgeous muted fresh rose color which does need a bit of work to show its true beauty but its totally worth it š it gives my lips just the right burst of pink which is muted and fresh at the same time! Totally 1 of my favorites <3

Do you know if Sephora online has a similar item? I’m sad they don’t sell Mac on their site š but I do love the rewards program they have.
