Charlotte Tilbury LIP CHEAT KISS ‘N’ TELL Re-Shape & Re-Size Lip Liner – 22$

Let me start talking about the packaging – First of all- it’s not retractable. I would have wanted the pencils with a twist-up function, It’s very difficult to sharpen each time!

Shade – The shade ‘ Kiss N Tell’ is a scarlet red shade. I found it hard to apply initially. But, that’s the whole point of lipliners right. A good lip liner should have a creamy consistency and also little hard to glide on the contour of your lips, to have enough pigmentation to be worn under a lipstick without altering its colour but also to be worn easily by itself and to be long lasting for the lipstick to also last longer on the lips.

Within a couple of swipes, it felt soft and silk smooth to apply. With a lipbalm underenath- it didn’t accentuate fine lines on lips/dry out lips much. A good lip liner help extend the wear-time of lipstick.

Pigmentation, Longevity – The shades are really pigmented. Only drawback I’d think of is the packaging. I wish I’ d twist the pencil up. In the lip swatches. I have used So Marilyn lipstick on top of this liner in the last pic. I just love it! It lasted for a really long time which I loved!

Also I find this lipliner works best with matte lip formulas. Once used to fully fill in your lips prior to applying lipstick, The non tacky/waxy consistency hold the color really longer. If you are looking for a good red lipliner to be worn along with your red lipstick family- you can give this a try. The only con I’d think of is the sharpening part.

Name of this lip liner pencil is “Lip Cheat Re-Size & Re-Shape Lip Liner” which means this is a multi tasking product. use this pencil not only to line, but also to “outline” your lips to create an illusion of perfectly shaped (re-shape) and fuller (re-size) lips. Such a classic term to call ‘ Lip Cheat’. Overall, it is easy to apply. has a creamy consistency while applying after initial 3-4 swipes. the non tacky/waxy formula holds the color for a long time without making your lips dry. However, for extremely dry lips- I suggest you to use a good lipbalm. In the lip swatch above, I am wearing Charlotte Tilbury So Marilyn lipstick on top of this gorgeous liner! I am loving it! A must buy if you have more reds in your lipstick collection. Only con I’d think of is the sharpening part.
