This is my first post here for MAC Modesty Lipstick and this is for a very dear friend’s blog whom I have known for a long time and am so very excited to write for her <3 most of you already know me and my fetish for lippies by now and if you still don’t well..i am going to shock you pretty soon 😛  here I am with a recently bought MAC lippie *I am in a nude lippie phase right now*  and I googled and found so many bloggers referring this pretty nude- Modesty ^_^ err.. how modest is modesty? Let’s find out!
What MAC Says
MAC describes Modesty as a *muted neutral pink* with a cremesheen finish J
Price- 990 Rs for 3gm *permanent range*

My take on the lipstick

The lipstick, being a part of MAC’s permanent range comes in our very familiar black and silver classy packaging with its tight cap- it is sleek and travel friendly J
The finish is one of my very favorites! Cremesheen finish of MAC is creamy and a tad glossy yet has great pigmentation! No wonder it is one of the more popular ones. This one too, is smooth, very creamy and easy to apply. Does not tug or dry out lips!
The color as described aptly by MAC is indeed a neutral nude pink which because of its lack of overly yellow or pink tones works widely over a varied range of complexions without washing anyone out! With dark and smokey eyes Modesty flatters a look best and gives the proper nude polished look without making me look ill 😀 

 The pigmentation is great and a couple of swipes is enough to cover some lip pigmentation for ladies who are bothered with it J

Being a light shade and of a glossy nature, the lipstick lasts an average of 3+ hours on lips *counting food and drinks of course* and does not stain lips while fading.

Pros
  • 1    Sleek and classy typical MAC packaging J
  • 2     Lovely cremesheen texture- creamy, very smooth and easy to apply J
  • 3     Does not dry out lips or emphasize lines/dry patches.
  • 4     A perfect muted neutral pinky nude which will look lovely on a variety of complexions J
  • 5     Pigmentation is great and a couple of swipes turns it opaque.
  • 6     Lasts a decent 3+ hours.
  • 7     Yummy vanilla fragrance J

Cons
May not suit ladies with very dusky complexions above approx NC 43. So do try it on at the store before you buy J

Without heavy eye makeup or a proper base , it may look a bit flat or plain.

Do I recommend?
Among all the nude lippies I have tried out from MAC * velvet teddy, hug me, patisserie* Modesty no doubt is my most favorite as it has a neutral undertone and a lovely smooth creamy finish resulting in a polished classy nude pout without washing me out <3 definitely try this one out if you are on the hunt for your *perfect nude* J who knows? This might be your one <3
