I am back with another lipstick from Mac Retro matte collection that created much buzz everywhere and that gives a very near head to head competition to all fired up lipstick is Flat out Fabulous. These two lipsticks were hottest selling shades and thanks to my friend who grab these two for me …

Ingredients

Mac Previously launched ruby woo as the one and only lipstick from retro matte collection after the huge response mac launch another 6 shades in the same collection which are inspired from Retro matte Ruby woo lipstick. Flat out fabulous is belong to this retro matte collection.
Mac describes this lipstick as bright plum matte. The shade has a hint of pink in it and in bright sunlight the shade look as bright fuschia one and little plummy in shade.
The lipstick comes in a usual black and silver case packaging with the famous vanilla scent in it.
Coming to the texture or finish whatever ….It seems like the lipstick is brought from far either South Pole or North Pole area as the matte finish is quite drying on lips so dry lips people might not like the texture of the lipstick. The lipstick being drying in texture one might find out tugging or pulling of lips during applying of lipstick but this point of the lipstick can be ignore as it leaves a rich stain on your lips after fading. The lipstick stays pretty more than 6 hours and it never transfers anywhere…i mean kiss proof…ahem! Ahem! …

The lipstick gives opaque finish in one swipe so one can guess that it is highly pigmented. But to avoid tugging and pulling apply lip balm before applying the lipstick is suggested. The flat out fabulous looks almost same with some bright fuschia lipsticks that I have but at the end the brand “mac” differs the difference between it and other lipsticks.
So here we are at the end of the review so summing up again:-

 Pros

•             Nice shade will suit medium to duskier mostly as fair skin tone people might found                as an usual bright pink lipstick that have pretty dupe.
•             Pigmented.
•             Totally matte finish.
•             Stays more than 6 hours.
•             Never transfers to cups and glass.
•             The vanilla scent.
•             Never bleeds or feather.

Cons
·         Like I said the finish of the lipstick is really dry so one has to be careful with proper moisturized lips before applying this lipstick.
·         It became permanent yes! But still not available in stores yet. 
My ratings: – 4/5

Overall thoughts

I am little bias when it comes about Mac but I have to review honestly and judging the lipstick being neutral so telling you frankly, flat out fabulous occupies second position after all fired up… although Mac describes a lipstick by itself but I think the shade look quite similar to other bright fuschia lipsticks from other brand that I have but you must wondering that then why I buy it? …simple1 Just because I am “crazy about Mac” and who don’t? And so my suggestion is if you ever get chance to grab it then ignore my this so called “over all honest thoughts” and grab it ….. : P
