My take on Lime crime Utopia:
My love for Lime crime is unending. I just love its matte and completely transfer-proof formula and above all the shades are out of this world gorgeous that suit my skin tone just too much 😉 :D. After Red Velvet, here is my review on another shade ‘Utopia’.
Shade: Utopia is a stunning orchid pink color. It is a beautiful mix of pink and orchid which would suit all skin tones beautifully and especially fair to medium skin tones. The color is warm-toned and doesn’t make you look pale at all instead it adds a wonderful color to your lips that is enough to enhance your complete look.
Texture: The lime crime has a thick liquid formula that dries off to a complete matte finish. It is highly pigmented and a single swipe leaves a perfect hue to your lips. It sets pretty quickly so apply it with precision, as it’s difficult to correct later.
Once set the color won’t budge and stays on even after meals and snacks. It is completely transfer proof and touch proof. You may find it a bit drying s exfoliate your lips first.
Longevity: The shade stays on and on. It looks as good as freshly applied even after 4-5 hours of application. A strong tint is left after a full meal and you won’t find a need to re-apply it. But yes, the color fades from the centre of the lips after a full meal. I prefer applying a clear lip balm later that evens out the color and helps to soothe my dry lips.
Packaging: The limecrime Utopia comes in a clear thick plastic tube with a tight screw cap having pretty rose design. The small foam tip applicator allows precise application and you won’t find a need to dip it in the tube again and again for one-time application. Overall the packaging is sturdy and functional.

Cons:
- Shade fades from the centre of the lips after a full meal.
- May accentuate chapped lips so better exfoliate your lips first.

If you love matte lip colors, then you should never miss out on lime crime. Utopia is a beautiful and comfortable orchid (purple) pink shade that is hard to find and even harder to resist. Hope you like the shade and the review.

The first time I put Utopia on..I was shocked! It’s nothing like all the shades I own. Orchid Pink is a precise description. And I don’t know how Lime Crime does it but their shades suit all skin tones.. Almost magic!
