What ELF claim about ELF Translucent Matte Powder

Directions for use
Use the sponge to blend in the powder over the face, neck and décolletage as a setting powder. Reapply as needed throughout the day for a refreshed look.

(Sponge Applicator contains Latex)

Packaging and the pricePackaging is really very good, professional…As you can see in the picture, it comes with a sponge…Comes with a price tag of 3.50 GBP and shell life is 12 months

 Net weight: 0.13oz (3.8g)

Ingredients
Talc, Mica, Zinc Stearate, Titanium Dioxide, Silica, Nylon-12, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Dimethicone, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Iron Oxides (CI 77491 CI 77492)

My views about ELF Translucent Matte Powder
Let me first show you the swatches…

Its a great product with a professional quality packaging. The packaging is very elegant and
slim– perfect for popping into a wallet before heading out for an evening. It comes with a mirror too..I use this product to set my foundation as well as concealer..Its not a kinda transparent power..It has a skin tone colour to it…and it really does a great job in mattifying my skin..It helps control oil on my t-zone.
I find this powder fantastic because it gets rid of the shine without me looking caked.

I must say Its a great product for the amount we spend….The only downside is that there isn’t much product…Also the sponge that comes with it is of no use to me..I wish rather than the sponge..ELFwould have included more quantity of powder…I use my powder brush to take and dab the powder onto my cheek as well as t-zone…
People with dark skin tone please stay away from this..As it makes your skin cakey…
I use just a very lil amount ..If you are trying to take a lot of product, I would suggest you to use a sponge instead of a brush..Overall I liked the product…

Pros

  • good slim packaging
  • doesn’t look cakey
  • mattifies my skin
  • controls oil in my t-zone area
  • cruelty fee
  • great value for money
  • no parabens
  • full list of ingredients mentioned
Cons
  • Sponge that comes with the product is of no use
  • Very little quantity of product. ELFwould have avoided the sponge compartment and would have included some more quantity of product instead 😀
  • not suitable for dark skin tones
Will I repurchase

Yes………

Have you tried ELF Translucent Matte Powder..Do you like it
