Urban Defense Tinted Moisturiser with SPF 20

Hi dearies…Today I am reviewing my new tinted moisturiser from Urban Decay

Urban Defense Tinted Moisturiser with SPF 20

What Urban Decay claim about urban Defense Tinted Moisturiser

Urban Defense battles free radical damage and arms you with moisture, sheer coverage and SPF 20 in a squeeze tube. A must if you crave a bare, dewy look.

Who says you can’t achieve a luminous, even-toned complexion without full-on foundation? Urban Defense gives you the sort of dewy radiance that usually only comes from a tryst in Fiji. The light-diffusing pigments in this wonder product diffuse the look of fines lines and wrinkles for a natural, youthful finish, while the buildable coverage it offers lets you wear it alone (great for warm weather) or under powder for a more polished look. This paraben and fragrance-free tinted moisturizer contains SPF 20, as well as a multi-mineral complex that battles free radical damage.

Packaging and Price

As shown in the snap, I bought the old packaging one.. Right now its available in a tube

I have the pump dispenser one 🙂

Shell life: 6 months

Qty:Fill Weight: 50ml e 1.69 fl oz

Comes with a price tag of 30$

It is available in four shades

I selected the shade Bulletproof as I am medium toned( NC 30-NC 35)

I have read so many reviews about the  bullet proof shade as the might medium one… So I got this shade…

My views about Urban Defense Tinted Moisturiser

This is a light weight tinted moisturiser which evens out the skin tone. It has a dewy finish..

I didn’t notice any fragrance…But it didn’t irritate my sensitive skin

Also, I noticed my face evened out after the application. I think this can be worn alone also if you’d like..:)

very good for office look where you need very lil makeup…

I really like the shade bullet proof 🙂 Although its a medium shade… I like it…:)

Let me share more snaps with you all 🙂

Now, UD have changed the packaging…But when I ordered online…I was given this old packaged one 🙁

I was suprised to see this packaging…But when I searched online..I found that this was the first packaging and later on they changed 🙂 so I was relaxed…:))

Also talking about the pump dispenser…It ‘s not like other pump dispensers…I hate this packaging…It dispenses too much product in one go…which I didn’t like… 🙁 :X

This product gives a flawless finish and its very natural too 🙂

It doesn’t make your face greasy…and it dries out very soon:)

After application of this I dusted my face with a translucent powder to set this…:) To my wonder it nearly lasted for 6-7 hours on my face which I really liked :))

But one thing I noted is the limited shade range…If you are NC30-40 range..I think..Bullet proof will suit you more than bodyguard….Bodyguard shade is for NC-25 ppl

Halo is the lightest shade…I have included picture of all the shades to give u all a better idea…

But this product is too pricey….

Pros

  • light weight natural tinted moisturiser
  • doesn’t irritate your skin
  • last for 6-7 hours
  • can be worn instead of a foundation
  • doesn’t make your face greasy
  • easy to blend and apply(I used my Sigma Synthetic kabuki F80)
  • Cruelty free
  • full list of ingredients mentioned
  • no parabens
  • shell life of 6 months

Cons

  • Availability in India
  • Too pricey
  • limited shade range
  • pump dispenser is not good..(dispenses too much product) Now UD have changed the packaging to tube which is good…I bought this online…and I was given this old packaged one..

Overall I liked the product…:)

Have you tried UD tinted moisturiser…Do you like it..which is your shade??

 Bye dearies…
