Makeup has the power of altering and refining my mood. I am sure it may be the case with lot of you as well. A good lipstick can make me happy and feel refreshing again. And more so, if it is all gold in packaging. Yes, I picked up Estee Lauder Kissable Lip Shine Rouge Brilliance in Tuscany Kiss as a way to kiss my blues away. I stay out of India and every return trip from home is a painful one. It was in one of those trips that I bought this lipstick in a duty-free outlet. Well, I did not instantly became all happy, but was quite close to that. 😉

The first thing that attracted me to buy this lipstick was the packaging. I mean, look at it. All gold and a pink satin ribbon. Stuff dreams are made of!!! It also has EL inscribed on one end. Estee Lauder Kissable Lip Shine Rouge Brilliance in Tuscany Kiss has an all-round case, where the cap slides open. However, you need to exert some pressure to open it, so no worries about the cap sliding away on its own. The lipstick has a flat, lip balm-type bullet.
Estee Lauder Kissable Lip Shine Rouge Brilliance in Tuscany Kiss is a beautiful shade of berry with red undertones. The shade is perfect to wear on almost all occasions. Even though it is a dark shade, it does not look overwhelming and can be worn by both beginners and veterans alike. I love wearing it with a light eye makeup, though I am sure even a heavy eye look will look decent with this shade on the lips.

The texture of the lipstick is mind blowing and is incomparable to all the lipsticks I have. The lipstick goes on super smoothly and feels like a lip cream. I literally felt that it was melting on my lips!!! The texture is very hydrating and comforting. Estee Lauder Kissable Lip Shine Rouge Brilliance in Tuscany Kiss has a creamy finish with a glossy shine and looks like a lipstick topped with a gloss. The lipstick has a sheer but buildable pigmentation. One swipe gives a very sheer coverage on the lips. You do need to swipe it a couple of times to get the exact shade on the lips. It stays put on me for 4-5 hours and does not leave any stain behind. It definitely needs a reapplication after a meal.
