The Vibe Tribe Collection is part of MAC’s Summer makeup collection. This collection has made a buzz not just with its amazing packaging ; But also created some controversies. This entire collection is  tribal-inspired. As most of you know I am such a fan of limited edition packaging. I really fell in love with with packaging that reminds me of Aztec prints. Vibe Tribe is a complete collection with a range of products. I purchased 2 blushes and one lipstick from this collection. In this post, I am reviewing a beautiful shade that compliments every skintone.

MAC Vibe Tribe Lipstick – Hot Chocolate – USD $18.00 / INR 1600

Shade, Packaging – MAC Hot Chocolate lipstick is described as a dirty plum shade. When I saw this shade for the first time, I knew I had to get it. This is a very nice natural looking color and is perfect for day time looks. I would describe this shade as a muted, medium rose brown shade with warm undertones and a satin finish. The lipstick comes in a limited edition packaging. The aztec print is just perfect.

Formula, Pigmentation, Longevity – Formula is creamy and very easy to apply. This shade will suit every skintone. It has a  buildable,  medium to full coverage. It’s quite hydrating on lips as well. However, if you have really dry lips – I suggest you to apply a lipbalm before using this. The pigmentation is great and in one swipe you get the nice natural looking color which doesn’t feel heavy at all even if layered. The formula easily glide onto lips and is not streaky at all. It lasts about 5 hours on my lips which is awesome.

Overall, I am in so love with the shade and this is the only lipstick that I loved in this entire collection. It has a good color pay off and the formula is creamy and easily glide onto lips. The shade lasted for about 5 hours which I think is great. MAC Vibe Tribe Lipstick – Hot Chocolate comes in a limited edition packaging. The coverage is medium-full. A pretty shade that compliments every skintone.
