I love powder formulas for blush and highlight and I was so lucky to receive this blush dup from Pixi Beauty.  You get two silky powders to give your cheeks a flawless, fresh finish. It’s a natural mineral formula that is infused with vitamin E and mica, so skin is treated as you wear it. The shade I am featuring today is Peach Honey. With this set you get a blush, a highlighter and a mini kabuki brush.

Do you guys see how beautiful the shade look. One can use the included kabuki brush to buff the pink shade onto the apples of cheeks and for a added glow, sweep the white gold shade onto high points of cheekbones, brow bone area, and down the center of your nose.

This is the kabuki brush that comes with this. Pretty good with soft dense brush heads. I love it!

Pixi Beauty Blush Duo + Kabuki – Peach Honey is a beautiful combo of a peachy nude blush and the soft beige-champagne highlighter. The texture of the powder is silky, rather buttery I would say. Super easy to blend and it doesn’t feel chalky or powdery at all. The blush shade has a teeniest amount of shimmer to it that is very flattering on your cheek. It doesn’t emphasize pores etc. The color is fairly pigmented when you swatch it and when using a brush you can build the intensity as you like. The highlighter has the similar texture as that of  the blush. It looks very pretty. I applied on my cheeks, centre of my nose and brow bone area and I am so in love with it.

The kabuki brush is really soft and dense and I use it mostly for contouring. I like to use my zoeva brushes for the blush and highlighter. There is one more shade of this product – Rose Gold that is available. Rose Gold suits fair skintones. Peach Honey can be used my everyone.

  2. I recently saw this in store and was wondering if I should pick it up. Pixi nails in its simple captive packaging and the shades look pretty as well.
