Dark Circles are the worst enemies one can ever get. While I confess that I am a ‘conceal-aholic’ with tons of concealers in my makeup collection – I am always in search of that perfect concealer. I have tried several different almost every brands – high end and drugstore. While I have found some of my favorites from the bunch I tried. I was absolutely bowled by the performance of this L.A. Girl PRO Conceal HD Concealers – In terms of coverage, shade selection and of course money. This is definitely a winner.

I have seen a lot of youtube gurus raving about this concealer. These are often compared to the MAC Prolongwear Concealers. These are available in 24 shades.

Ingredients
Water, Cyclopentasiloxane, Beeswax, Stearyl Dimethicone, Isododecane, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, Microcrystalline Wax, Cetyl PEG/PPG 10/1 Dimethicone, Glyceryl Laurate, Polyglyceryl-4 Oleate, Mica, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Butylparaben, Propylparaben, Isobutylparaben, Tocopheryl Acetate, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Propylene Glycol, Chamomilla Recutita Extract, Propylene Carbonate, Sodium Hyaluronate, May Contain: Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891).

Packaging – These concealers has a brush applicator built into the packaging which makes it easy to apply the product. But at the same time I’m not a big fan of it. I have to constantly clean the brush head after each use or the product on it will dry up and make the concealer harder to dispense.

Shade Selection – Shade selection is fantastic. For the price tag, you can choose your favorite shade that matches your skintone. I would suggest you to choose a shade that is 1-2 shades lighter than your actual skin tone for highlighting and shades that are 1-2 shades darker than your skin tone for contouring.

Shade, Formula, Pigmentation
L.A. Girl PRO Conceal HD Concealers have a thick texture and applies very creamy. It dries very quickly and so, One has to be really quick in blending the product. I use my trusted original damp beauty blender to apply this.. The formula is great for all skin types. I use a primer & eye cream prior to applying these.. These settle onto a really nice matte finish and it doesn’t feel or look cakey if applied correctly. If you have fine lines on your under eye area. You might have to use a really hydrating eye cream and this tend to settle onto fine lines if not properly set. I recommend setting it with a loose powder – translucent powder to prevent it from budging.

These are highly pigmented and especially the color corrector – You need only a teeny amount. So, Be careful while dispensing the product. I use Toast & Toffee for contouring and for concealer – I use Warm honey. and for highlighter  I use Pure Beige. I have ordered Creamy Beige which is my perfect highlighter shade – I am yet to receive it. Creamy Beige was OOS at the time I ordered.

These are available in 24 shades and every skin tone can find a perfect color match.

Pure Beige can be a perfect concealer shade if you are MAC NC40/42 skintone.
Toast/Tofee can be the prefect contouring shades for every skintype.
Creamy Beige is the perfect highlighter shade. if you have a pale skintone – get the shade – Natural for highlighting.
Orange Corrector can be used for color correcting. If you have redness- Get the green corrector instead.

Longevity
These are the best affordable/ drugstore concealers I’ve ever used. Coverage is medium to full. Covers dark circles, redness, pigmentation/ spots/ blemishes/acne. Staying power after setting with translucent powder is awesome and lasts about 6-7 hours without creasing/fading.

L.A Girl HD Pro Concealers are one of the best drugstore concealers available. They have a wide shade selection, applies smooth and creamy. Settles to a matte finish. These suit every skin type. For normal under eye area, these are quite hydrating. These dries pretty quickly. So, You have to blend and set it fast. I use my favorite damp beauty blender to blend it and then set the concealer using Ben Nye Translucent Powder. If you have fine lines on under eye area/extremely dry under eye area- Make sure you use a hydrating eye cream prior to applying this and then set it with a loose powder. These lasts about 6-7 hours without fading/creasing. I am looking forward to try more shades. Will post the new swatches when I receive them.
