Swatches and my opinion about Wake Me Up Foundation : Natural Beige
I was in search of an affordable dewy finish foundation. This is available in 6 different shades and out of which I chose the shade natural beige which is a closer match to my dusky skin tone..My skin color is a  medium olive with yellow undertones and I had to go for the darkest shade (#400 Natural Beige), which still wasn’t a perfect match but I can work with it.This foundation is easy to blend and apply and it does a good job in making my face dewy….While checking the shades at store, I felt that most of the shades has a pink undertone to it.. This one however is the only match for yellow undertones in my opinion. I haven’t noticed so many sparkles with this like everyone sayWhen you test it on your hand it seems really shimmery, but at the time you apply it on your face it turns  more of  matte finish.

here is a closer look of the swatch…

it doesn’t make your face look cakey and it lasts for almost 6-7 hours..I wore it to office and it stayed the whole day. I had to do touchups in between to avoid oilness..I feel that natural beige hardly has glitters….This foundation provides a buildable coverage which is excellent in my opinion, for daily wear , you need a medium coverage..It has a slight fragrance which will fade away soon, the moment you apply it…The foundation is not as thicker as revlon or bourjois healthy mix, But, not light as Chanel Vitalumiere..and it doesn’t cause any irritation on my super sensitive skin..

overall,  I feel its a great drugstore foundation, which is suited for everyday use…
Pros

  • easy to blend and apply
  • provides a medium coverage which is buildable
  • gives a good dewy finish
  • atleast glitters don’t bother me…not like a glitter factory( maybe Natural beige has no glitters to it..)
  • no irritation on skin
  • lasts for almost 7 hours
  • good packaging, comes with a nice dispenser
  • easily available, (Slassy.com, ASOS etc)
  • contains SPF
Cons
  • Only 6 shades available, not everyone will find exact match
  • lighter versions have glitters to them…
Overall, I feel its a great day time foundation to try out…
Hope you liked my review!!

Happy Monday guys!!

I tried it from my friends kitty .. We both are same shade it was shade “sand” 303 i guess. N it was sooo annoyingly shimmery . I could literally see it through on my nose through corner of my eyes. May be this darker shade doesnt has that apparent shimmer. Try n swatch a lighter shade some time in store at day time.

I really want to try it out! I usually like full coverage better but if it’s build able coverage it will be fine. Nice post! 🙂

Hey please give FOTD also for this so that I can see the effect of it. But is it available in India? Also I have oily skin so will it suit me? I think my shade would be lighter than this.
