Witch Anti-Blemish Tinted Moisturiser- 02 Medium Review

Posted on September 6, 2012April 12, 2015 by renjianooj
Hi dearies….
I am reviewing a tinted moisturiser from Witch Skincare Range…
Witch Anti-Blemish Tinted Moisturiser Review
I was always in search of a good tinted moisturiser and at last  I bought this one from Superdrug

What do the company claim about Anti-Blemish Tinted Moisturiser

Award winning, Witch Anti-blemish Tinted Moisturiser is available in three shades: light, medium and dark. Formulated for oily/combination skin it mattifies skin, helping to control shine and target spots and breakouts. Providing medium coverage and moisturisation, it eliminates the need for both a moisturiser and foundation.
  • Helps prevent and target blemishes
  • Mattifies and controls shine
  • Medium coverage for natural looking complexion
Works brilliantly with Anti-Blemish Pressed Powder for a long lasting finish.

Dermatologically tested

Packaging and Price
Comes in a squeeze tube of 30 ml
Price: 5.99 GBP

How to use

For a healthy and natural looking complexion apply to cleansed skin, try our Oil Control Foaming Face Wash. Using your fingertips, start in the centre of your face and blend outwards. Using fingertips warms the moisturiser and allows for the smoothest finish.
Allow the moisturiser to be absorbed before continuing with your make-up. For best, long lasting results, use Anti-blemish Pressed powder to set.

Ingredients

Anti-blemish Tinted Moisturiser is formulated with the following key ingredients:
  • Witch hazel extract: natural astringent, soothing and toning properties
  • Naturally derived pigments: give natural-looking, even colour
  • Antibacterial actives: help prevent blemishes and breakouts
  • Skin emollient and humectants: hydrate and condition skin

My take on the product
I am always eagered to try out different products and see whether it actually works…I have used the Witch Skin Care section and was happy with the results..This high expectation and budget friendly price prompted me to buy this good for nothing Tinted moisturiser…It promised to  control shine and targets spots and breakouts and to provide medium coverage..I choose the shade 2 medium as I felt 1 light was too light for me…  The formula is not so great but,  To make it look wearable you have to pretty much rub if off and therefore it certainly wouldn’t give you medium coverage. The only thing it does do is take away all the shine. Well, I had to use a foundation as it didn’t cover up any blemishes…It did mattify my face…it doesn’t have any SPF to it which I hate about it…It can be used as a primer. it prepares your face well for the foundation application..it doesn’t do an excellent job in terms of providing moisture to the skin…However, it does a pretty good job, if you want a no makeup face….I prefer to wear this while I am simply sitting at home… 😀 😛

Pros

  • mattifies face
  • controls shine upto 3 hours
  • contains witch hazel
  • fragrance free
  • oil free
  • reasonable
Cons
  • no spf
  • shade range is limited
  • leaves white patches if you don’t rub the product off
  • no coverage
  • foundation is essential if you use this
  • not a good moisturiser
Would I repurchase
No….No…No…And, I won’t reccomend this to anyone… :/
