Olay Gentle Cleanser

Posted on October 13, 2012September 20, 2014 by renjianooj
Hi beautyholics….I am going to review a product which I use every single day….
its my Olay Gentle Cleanser

What do the company claim about Softening Milk
Gently and effectively remove all traces of make-up and daily grime with this cool cleansing milk. Skin is left wonderfully clean, refreshed and moisturised.
  • Smoothes and softens the skin as it cleanses.
  • Safely removes all make-up, including waterproof products.

Packaging and Price
Comes in a plastic bottle as shown in the snaps…
Qty:200 ml; Price: 3-5 GBP(depends on the store discounts as well as Qty)
Shell Life: 12 Months

How to Use
Use a cotton pool pad to gently rub the cleansing milk into your face and neck, concentrating on the areas where impurities can collect, such as under the eyes and in pores. Leave it for 30 seconds to allow deep pore penetration, before removing with warm water. Use as part of your daily cleansing process, following with the Olay moisturiser that best suits your skin.

My opinion about the product
Its a quite nice cleanser from Olay which is not only effective but it leaves my skin supple and fresh. It is really cheap as well  for a 200ml bottle and it is available at all leading supermarkets. This is now part of my everyday CTM routine..

It is dermatologically tested and non-comedogenic,The consistency is not as runny as milk. It is a white cream that has the consistency of somewhere between a milk and a moisturizer, so it is like a lotion. I dip some of it on cotton wool pads to remove my make-up and it is very effective, even removing my waterproof mascara which is impressive. It dissolves away my heavy eye make-up very well.

It really leaves my skin feeling soft without being greasy, and my skin is pretty dry to start with. My skin also has a pleasant fresh feeling. It contains aloe vera and cucumber, which are known for their soothing qualities and I can feel the sweet aroma of cucumber which is pleasant and refreshing.
For such a cheap cleanser, I am surprised to find that this is of a nice quality and leaves my skin so supple.

The packaging is rather basic though, with an opaque white plastic bottle, a turquoise flip-top lid and a simple Olay label. But this does not bother me really as the product is a good quality which is more important than luxurious packaging.

Pros
  • gentle on skin
  • no irritation
  • doesn’t clog pores
  • removes dirt and makeup
  • reasonable
  • packaging is impressive
  • no greasy feeling on skin
  • dermatologically tested
  • easily available
Cons
  • I can’t find any cons… oops…!!!

I recommend you try this gentle, yet effective cleanser which is a pleasure to use, leaving yourself more money to spend on other products
Hope you liked my review!

Which cleanser do you use for your CTM routine??? Have you tried this one from Olay?

Hugs
