MAC ZAC POSEN LIPSTICKS – DARLING CLEMENTINE, DANGEROUSLY RED

MAC limited edition collections are always exciting. With the limited edition packaging, new shades and formula- MAC always stands class apart from other brands. There is absolutely everything I love about this collection. In this post I am reviewing two lipsticks from MAC x ZAC Posen Collection – DARLING CLEMENTINE, DANGEROUSLY RED

There are 3 lipsticks in this collection. Price – USD $18.00. The lipsticks are packaged in matte-finish grey colored square shaped packaging with gold tubes. The metal tends to show fingerprints but the finish is pretty awesome. Love it! Check all other products in this collection here

MAC Dangerously Red Lipstick ($18.00 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a “blue fuchsia with a matte finish”.

MAC Darling Clementine Lipstick ($18.00 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a “bright orange with a Matte finish”.

MAC Zac Posen Lipstick -Dangerously Red is a bright fuchsia red with cool or blue undertones and a semi-matte finish. It has excellent color payoff with a creamy consistency. It applied easily without bleeding on lips. The shade lasted for about about 7 hours on my lips and left behind a stain. Despite the matte formula, the lipstick was neither drying nor over hydrating. It didn’t make my lips super dry. This is one of my favorite fuchsia shade at present.

MAC Zac Posen Lipstick – Darling Clementine is a bright orange with warm/red undertones and and it has a matte finish. It has excellent color payoff in a single swipe and has a smooth consistency that glided easily on lips without pulling/tugging. It lasted for about 5 hours and was slightly drying. I had to touch up the lipstick after 5 hours or so as the formula started to fade a little and started to stain and settle onto the fine lines on my lips. I didn’t like this color on me. I am not a fan of oranges. If you like bright orange red shades- You will like this.

Overall, These are a collectors item. I love the LE packaging which is squared. Dangerously Red is one of my favorite fuchsias at the moment. Do check online and in stores if you are able to grab these. get Darling Clementine shade if you are a fan of bright orange red shades. I definitely love this collection.
