Even the outer cartons are a true work of art. Chris Chang, a Shanghai-based fashion designer and the creative force behind Poesia, collaborated together with M·A·C Cosmetics for a collection inspired by the traditional aesthetics of ethnic tribes as well as costumes from various countries.

This fragrance-free, creamy, emollient-based formula imparts a sheer to medium color. This gives a dewy finish on your face. Shades – Peony Pavilion and Rich Coral are easily wearable and suits most skintones. The product itself is very cute! It’s just like any other cream colour and is very versatile. It can be used for blush, eyeshadow or even a lip colour.

MAC x Chris Chang Cream Colour Base – Rich Coral  is a vibrant orange and is very creamy and deliver that juicy pop of color and little sheen to my cheeks. Perfect for summer. The soft dewy finish is perfect and feels light even if we layer the color. Rich Coral is a permanent staple in MAC’s collection, But it’s totally worth picking up in the special packaging.

MAC x Chris Chang Cream Colour Base – Peony Pavilion is a hot pink shade and again, a perfect shade for summers.

They are very pigmented and they apply best with a duo fiber stippling brush to help blend out the color really well.

Overall, I love these cream color bases and I like to use it as a blush. It gives a sheer-medium coverage and can be layered to reach desired pigmentation. Though both the cream color shades are easily dupable, The special Limited Edition packaging adds charm to your vanity.
