Now, moving on to what I think of this lip nourisher. First of all, Let me talk about the packaging. It’s real simple. Remind me of the Trilogy & Kiehl’s lip balms. Very convenient tube packaging with a nozzle at the end makes it super easy to control the product you take each time. It’s hygienic too.
Texture – It’s like a clear ointment ; Fragrance free which is really a plus for me!
Now, moving onto the actual review – Did it really work ? I am someone with cracked lips all round the year. however, my lip cracks are not painful or that bad either. Still, being a matte lipstick lover. i would like to layer onto my lips something that hydrates my lip all day. something that seals in moisture and immediately fill in the slight cracks that I have on my lips. In that way – it works, As it’s formula is rather thick- I need only a tiny amount. I just apply it all over my lips. finish with rest of my makeup and then blot it using a tissue before applying my lipstick. I like this lip nourisher. After about 3-4 hours, I found my lips to be dry again. Then I again feathered this little bit onto my lips and blotted again using a tissue paper. It really enhances the color of my lipstick. If you ask me- To use under the lipstick – I would still prefer my organic Nellie Tier lip balm or Kiehl’s lip Balm. As I don’t have to worry about my lips getting too dried or something. Well, it’s just my opinion on wearing this under you lipstick. I feel if you have really bad chapped lips , You might want to try a different product.
If you have normal lips and if you are ready to reapply every 3-4 hours and is looking for a fragrance free, petroleum free, clear formula ( eehhhh, did I tell you, how badly I hate tinted lip balms) – this is for you!
