Guerlain is my favorite luxury brand and when it comes to limited edition products. They make sure they package the products in the most classy and luxurious packaging which no makeup lover would want to miss. For Holiday 2017, Guerlain released two beautiful lipstick shades in limited edition.

In this post, I am featuring those two beautiful lipsticks from the brand. ‘Reds’  are the perfect holiday shades and these two reds has luminous reflects and look gorgeous on every skin tone.

A jewel lipstick compact with a white-gold shimmer designed by Lorenz Bäumer, the young and talented jeweler in Place Vendôme. A horizontal design with feminine curves that houses a secret: a mirror automatically appears when the compact is opened. The lipstick has a purely elegant, contemporary design and closes magnetically. This exceptional object boasts a comprehensive, premium formula containing a star ingredient: ruby powder, which acts as an optical whitener to bring out the color and shine of the shades. The blend of natural active ingredients (Tiger Grass, wild mango butter, Gugul resin used in Ayurvedic medicine) completes the formula to plump up, smooth and bring moisture and softness to your lips.

The lipstick is reinvented as an exceptional jewel with Rouge G, a subtle balance of intense colour and the comforting pleasure of a creamy lip balm. Totally in love with their beautiful packaging! The gold detailing adds to the beauty of the package.

The lipstick has a purely elegant, contemporary design and closes magnetically. Lipstick is heavy because of the detailing. Yet it feels luxurious!

These are the two different reds from the collection – Glamorous Cherry (822) & Flaming Red (823)

It’s a pearl finish lipstick with the comfort of a lip balm. It has a comforting floral-vanilla fragrance. Top notes sparkle with a lemon, orange and bergamot accord. The rose and iris heart exudes sweetness. The vanilla and tonka bean dry-down gives Rouge G all of its intensity.

The key ingredients – Hyaluronic acid spheres to fill your lips ; Mango butter to soften the lips.

Both the lipsticks have full colour-payoff from the first swipe itself. It has a pearly shine finish. Very comfortable on lips. The fragrance is very mild. Lips feel hydrated throughout the wearing. The beautiful color lasts without feathering or bleeding into fine lip lines, survives meals tiny wear off with oily food and, finally fading to a nice stain on lips.

Guerlain Rouge G Exceptional Lipstick – Flaming Red (823)

The color ‘flaming red (823)’ is a crimson red shade. It’s a nice red shade that compliments every skintone.

‘Glamorous Cherry (822) is a lovely bright pink-red lipstick. Red undertones.

Overall, I absolutely adore the lipsticks. They have good color pay-off and they glide onto lips wonderfully hydrating your lips. The color stays without feathering or bleeding or clinching on to lines of your lips. Stays beautifully. Survive meals and finally fades off to give a beautiful stain on lips.
