Hi dearies….I am reviewing Victoria’s Secret Beauty Rush Glossy Lip Tint Sheen – ‘Better than Bare’today.

My take on the VS glossy tint ‘Better than Bare’:
Dry lips constantly require hydration in this hot weather here. So a tinted lip balm/lip tint is always preferred over full coverage yet drying lipsticks. Well, for day-day and a casual look, I prefer such lip tints for sure. VS glossy lip tint is one such lip product which gives your lips some color, shine and keeps them moisturized for long too.

Shade: ‘Better than Bare’ as the name suggests is more of a MLBB (my lips but better) shade. It is a light brown color with some mauve undertones (visible under natural lighting). The color has a light metallic finish which adds a shine to the otherwise dull brown. The shade would suit all skin tones without washing you out.

Texture: VS lip tint is a quite moisturizing lip color with light to medium pigmentation. The texture is more like a lip balm so it is soft and very smooth. As it is lightly pigmented, so you may like to swipe it 4-5 times to get some visible color and shine on your lips. The color does reflect some shimmer when swatched but on the lips all you can see is a metallic sheen.

I have not seen any melting of the tip even in this hot weather neither the color bleeds upon application. It fades away quite evenly without settling in lines.

Packaging: VS lip tint features an angled tip that helps you in quick and easy application. It comes in a thick crayon like packaging with a twist up mechanism. The tip is covered with a transparent plastic cap. I find it easy to carry around in our bag as it won’t melt even in hot weather.

Staying power: Think of it more of a tinted lip balm than a lipstick so the staying power is also not bad comparatively. It stays on around 3 hours on me. It cannot survive a meal. Still I find the staying power decent enough.

Final Word: If you are looking for more moisturization and less color, and you feel like splurging on a high-end brand, then definitely check the VS glossy lip tints. The texture and the hydration the product provides is quite satisfactory.
