Cannes Diaries: Aishwarya goes for gold on the Cannes red carpet

Hi makeupholics…here is a look at Aishwarya’s appearance in Cannes 2o14..

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been attending the Cannes Film Festival for 12 years but this time Aishwarya Rai hit up the red carpet looking fresh and stole the show.

The Bollywood star made her Cannes 2014 entrance on Tuesday at the “Two Days, One Night” premiere in a breathtaking gold Roberto Cavalli fishtail gown that has previously been worn by Kristin Chenoweth at the 2014 Oscars.

The sparkly strapless gown was definitely a stunner; featuring a criss-cross pattern, a waist-cinching bustier and a long train, the gown brought out Ash’s flawless skin and her contrasting ruby red lips. Considering her last year’s fashion faux pas, Aishwarya truely made a comeback and reigned back as the queen. A true mermaid!

 

 

Bottomline:  Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been garnering praise for her golden look at the Cannes Film Festival this year. Everyone, including her husband Abhishek Bachchan, is going gaga over her look. But Ash’s winner look has apparently been picked out from another actress’ wardrobe. Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth wore the same gold strapless Roberto Cavalli gown to this year’s Academy Awards. But, copycat or no copycat, Aishwarya looked beautiful!!!
