To our dearest Dhwani & Dhruv, Happy first birthday our lil world! Our bundle of happiness! Time flys! Where are you guys running so fast? It feels just like yesterday !!Our precious babies, you are loved! You guys certainly did light up our lives. After all, you guys arrived after 7 long years of endless wait. You two are so so special for us… Our entire life has changed. Every single decision in our life has changed and everything started to evolve around you. From our busy feeding sessions late nights, early mornings, mid afternoons, fun bath times, dreamy massage times, we have come across a long way! The way you two look at mommy and the way you guys make mommy feel special is truly amazing, a blessing indeed.

Trying hard to jiggle with internet at your maternal home, doing some meetings and calls before winding up work for the day. As you guys already know by now, it’s not just your birthday…It’s mommy’s birthday too. Mommy’s birthday kind of sunk in this Ist bday celebration of yours..but, honestly mommy is the happiest and just can’t wait for tomorrow evening…First time ever, mommy on a Sept 24 sitting without buying anything for myself, without planning anything ; But, everything planned to celebrate your day of arrival ☺️????
For your Ist birthday, mommy has so many plans on how to do something special to celebrate our most happiest day. A party has been arranged where our most beloved family members from maternal as well as paternal would come. More than any other solid gifts that you guys ‘d receive t at, mommy really want to pen down memories associated with this day and also, would want you guys to know how much of excitement and happiness you guys have given to the entire family and more than any gifts, mommy wanted something that you’d open your 18th birthday. For that matter, mommy is going to ask everyone to pendown the special memories and thoughts for you guys that you’d read years later. Exactly on yours 18th birthday. Really can’t wait for the day that you will open them and know how much love surrounded you at even such a young age.
It feels like yesterday your Papa and mommy anxiously awaited your arrival and now, a whole year has passed and soon you two will be walking and talking. It’s been the bestest year of all times watching you both grow up before our eyes.
We really dunno, whether we’d be able to show you our journey that we took to realize our dream of having you. The entire journey started with prayers, hopes and now has culminated in you — our most precious Gift ever! Our lovely babies – Dhwani and Dhruv. What a beautiful day it was, The biggest pleasure of holding, kissing, and loving you both. We were able to conceive you. Me and your father struggled 7 long years before we got blessed. We struggled with unexplained infertility and needed help bringing you into this world.
The entire pregnancy period, and waiting for you guys! Your mammamma, Papa and mommy– Our wait took forever. Every time your Papa and I went to the doctor, We were excited to hear your heartbeat. And each time, It really made us cry, at the same time excited to think about you both growing in Mommy’s belly. The most exciting moment of my pregnancy was when your Papa and I first felt your kick. We even have weekly video recordings and we clearly cherished every moment of it.
Mommy’s pregnancy time was crazy! So many ups and downs. Things were until last week of due date. Suddenly bp took a toll and I had to undergo a emergency Caesarian Section. I was so cautious that I had already instructed your Papa to be ready to hold babies and make sure he accompany the nurse while they give babies their first wash. Your father like always, was super busy with project and go-live and I think he too had same excitement which I had, maybe lil more tensed with job and family. He’s super lucky, He got to hold you both like magic. Mommy could touch you guys first and kiss you both first. Can’t forget that day! The day you guys were born, magically on your Mommy’s birthday ???? Every hope and prayer that we had for you had finally come true.
Now that our lives have been blessed to hold you closer to our heart in our lives, We would like to tell you about all of our hopes and dreams for you. Our hope for you is that you guys always always follow your dreams no matter what and never waiver from what you want out of life. Enjoy your childhood, grow up happy, healthy, and secure. We know that the world around us is so strange. You guys get compared every now and then. Believe mommy, This’d get worser as you grow older. Mommy clearly knows that one wants to grow up being compared. And its quite upsetting when comparisons come from people who influence our lives a lot. Amma assure you that, nothing of that sort would affect us. You guys have unique personalities, unique dreams, distinct voice, your own individual choices etc. You guys’d there for each other everytime and do understand that you two are always loved, cared and looked upon.

The large mirror on the inner lid comes handy while travelling and on the go touchups. Now, coming onto it’s beautiful design embossing – The compass pattern on the surface is absolutely gorgeous, with the brand’s best-selling 03 shade making up the tanned portion, and a pop of peach/coral in the centre for that extra warmth. The golden ‘rays’ that you see in the picture is actually an overspray that will get wiped away within the first few uses, but somehow a touch of the shimmer does remain slightly behind.

Wearing makeup is one of my most enjoyable part everyday. But, at the end of the day, Removing it is quite challenging. Especially, after a hectic day at work where you just want to crash on the bed.
Instytutum’s unique transforming cleanser leaves the skin beautifully cleansed, hydrated and supple. Visibly replenishing and smoothing while renewing the complexion at the same time. The skin feels soft, hydrated, and radiant looking.
All you need to do is — apply this on your dry skin, You needn’t moisten skin beforehand. Instead, Just massage in. Once the product is spread all over your face, Moisten the skin to transform the balm into a silky emulsion. Rinse off thoroughly with lukewarm water and follow with Resurfacing Glow Toner or Flawless Pads.

What I really love about this Melting Cleanser is that it’s deep cleansing on skin and post wash you don’t feel your skin has become dry or anything like that. Upon contact with water, it turns into a silky emulsion and instantly dissolves and removes makeup and impurities, clean your pores etc.
Skin feels thoroughly cleansed, soft and radiant-looking. It also has the renewal benefits of Retinol to refine skin texture, Hyaluronic Acid to improve moisture and elasticity, Vitamin E, Provitamin B5 and Allantoin to calm, soothe and strengthen barrier function.
INSTYTUTUM TRANSFORMING MELTING CLEANSER
Overall, its a daily usable makeup cleanser that takes away all impurities and makeup off your face without leaving your face over dry etc. It also doesn’t strip natural oils off your face. Upon contact with water it transforms from a balm to an oil into a silky emulsion. Skin feels plumped and hydrated post wash. If you are wearing heavy duty makeup, I recommend you use this as a second cleanser to make sure all impurities are off your face.
Note – As it has Retinol, Be careful about using it if you are pregnant. Consult with your doctor before you use products that contain Retinol as an ingredient.
Acid Toning is not something new to me. My skin is used to glycolic acid toners. Post washing and makeup removal, This is the last step of cleansing and at the same time the essence in toner. The skin is not only refined but already deeply hydrated, plump and calm. Instytutum Resurfacing Glow Toner has a perfect pH level of 3,5 to ensure real efficacy.
Instytutum’s Resurfacing Glow Toner / Glycolic Hydrating Essence is formulated with 6% Glycolic Acid and 2% Niacinamide to gently exfoliate the skin’s surface to visibly improve the look of fine lines, wrinkles, pores, uneven skin tone etc. Thereby, helps brighten, clarify and smooth the complexion. Use after cleansing or after a peel. Pour a little quantity onto a cotton pad or on your hands and apply to the face, neck and décolleté. Leave on for about 10 seconds, then apply your regular moisturizer(day/night). I love the fact that it’s non sticky and I can layer my skincare products on top. Skin feels very refreshed.
Who can use Toners – Toners are necessary for people with oily or acne-prone skin and essential for those like me who really look forward to that extra cleansing step post makeup removal and usage of other heavy skincare products like sunscreen etc.
I will talk about the Flawless Pads next. Post Cleansing – You only need either of these — glow toner or the flawless pads. Glow Toner by Instytutum is gentle and soothing on skin and it helps unclog pores by removing excess oil and traces of dirt etc. Toner has a perfect pH level of 3,5 to ensure the maximum efficacy. Overall, am very impressed with these acid toning pads. Especially, they are so convenient and easy to use. My skin started to look more clearer and radiant with less breakouts ever since I started using these. There is no skin irritation or breakouts etc. Love the fact that it gently exfoliate the skin and ingredient list is amazing too — glycolic, lactic, citric, and salicylic acid. Overall plumpness and facial moisture balance is maintained by ingredients — hyaluronic acid and Vitamin B3. The pads are gentle and effective on my skin and I prefer to use it at night. when I wake up the next morning, my skin feels soft, radiant. Skin texture appears more firmer as well.

I like the pleasant fragrance. I use this after cleansing and Toning during day & night before my day/night cream. I concentrate on areas where I have spots and redness. I am yet to experience the complete magic and skin transformation using this cream. It’s too early for me to tell the results. And, of course, I need to finish the Lifting Cream from Instytutum that I am using every day to enjoy this in full swing. Initial impressions are good. It’s light weight on skin. No breakouts or skin irritations or whatsoever. Definitely not greasy at all and also it comes with a bunch of anti-aging benefits and that’s a great yay factor for me as I am in my late twenties. I will do a separate post after testing the cream for about 4-6 weeks.

I am using this every night and you really feel that lifted appearance of eye lids. I am yet to see any reduction on the dark circles that I have. I like how easily this eye cream get absorbed to the area leaving the area plumped, hydrated and more radiant. After doing my night skincare routine. I like to cover my eye area using my favorite Silk Pillow Case and go to sleep. When I wake up, I notice my eye area appear more firmer and soft.
Overall, a rich and luxurious eye cream that tighten the under eye area. Eye lids give a lifted appearance and under eye area look more plump, supple and radiant. Formula is non greasy too.
You get 5 SHEET MASKS for $69. Use on cleansed dry skin, preferably after the Triple Action Resurfacing Peel. Unfold the mask and peel away the protective layers. Place 2 sheets on the upper and lower part of the face and adjust it to fit. Leave on 20 to 30 minutes. Remove the mask and massage remaining serum into the skin.
I always think twice when I see expensive sheet masks, especially since these days, you get hydrating sheet masks for less than $1. For this price, I felt this was a little too much of claim. The price really amused me. Decided to give it a try. I did find out that it has some skin loving hydrating , brightening and anti aging ingredients. Also, I found that it’s a two piece mask made of hydrolyzed collagen for that better ingredient penetration and a better fit.
It felt a lot like cellulose masks. Honestly, This one was hard to fit. It did slip on me several times when my face was upright. I ended up lying down so as the mask fits better and stays well. So, definitely not for you if you are looking for a mask that has all the above properties; But you are person who ‘d like to read a book or indulge in other activities when the mask is on. This one, as its slippery on face. One must always be lying down if it’s on.
Now, coming onto results. While I really like the Triple Effect Peel on my skin. I didn’t notice much effect on my skin after using this mask. It certainly did brighten up the face. But, that’s something every hydrating sheet mask genre does. I did see my skin turned softer, Redness around my nose area much reduced etc. But, It’s very difficult to tell how it works on wrinkles and pores. Overall, It didn’t deliver any dramatic results that a normal hydrating/collagen sheet mask didn’t

The stunning black bullet with a gold lip packaging – It is a luxury in itself! Love them a lot. I have never seen so much detailing for a lipstick packaging. MatteTrance’s bullet point remains aligned at the central point of the three-dimensional lips—regardless of which way you twist—a detail McGrath was insistent upon and that took two years to engineer.
Wonderful, isn’t it? Imagine, you are putting lipstick straight by looking on to the camera or a mirror or may be in front of someone. All they see is – Either way you twist or the style in which you put on the lipstick – They can see the three dimensional gold adorned lip from front side! Amazing in my opinion. Shade name is printed on the base as well.

Once you open the bullet, all you see is — a soft, velvet looking lipstick. It has an opaque coverage and the texture is NOT a drying velvet matte as how you see it in the bullet. It’s infused with optical diffusers that blur the appearance of your lip imperfections, combined with a blend of polymers to provide flexibility and adherence. The advanced formulation of spherical particles ensure a creamy soft texture too.
It applies creamy and lightweight, delivers perfect coverage in a single swipe. They have no added fragrance. They are of SATIN finish and applies super smooth and has a beautiful sheen when applied. Each shade is universally flattering. They are not at all drying on the lips. Sits comfortably on lips without accentuating fine lines on lips. Neither does it cling onto dry patches of your lips. Formula is hydrating too.
Longevity
Pat McGrath MatteTrance Lipsticks are highly pigmented. As always, prep your lips before applying. They have a satin finish with a sheen to it. The colors apply smoothly on lips leaving the lips feeling luscious and smooth, with a supple, cushiony feel. Definitely not transfer proof. They did transfer to my glass etc. I noticed that the color remained intense throughout the wear. It didn’t fade or made my lips look dry or patchy. The sheen kind of lasts for about a hour and little more after which it sets to matte. If you want a full matte finish, blot using a tissue and set using a translucent powder after application.

Pat McGrath MatteTrance Lipstick – Elson is a gorgeous red color with blue undertones. One of my favorite shade from the collection. The satin smooth finish applies beautifully on lips. These have a perfect sheen to it when applied. Universally flattering shade and see how it looks on me below.
Pat McGrath MatteTrance Lipstick – Flesh 3 is a gorgeous warm peach brown color. Undoubtedly my most favorite from the colors I own from this collection. If you are looking to buy a single color from MatteTrance range by Pat McGrath – Go for this! This shade won’t disappoint you at all.
Pat McGrath MatteTrance Lipstick – Mc Menamy is a dark burgundy shade. If you know me and if you’ve been a long time reader of my blog – You guys might probably know by this time, I am a huge fan of dark vampy colors. And, I think this shade is a perfect fall shade. I love how beautiful it is on my complexion. Again, with darker colors. You guys be careful to prep and exfoliate your lips prior to applying.

All of these colors stayed on my lips for over 7 hours. Of course the creamy sheen makes them transfer to cups and glasses. But, they stay non-drying on lips. No fading or clinging onto dry areas or fine lines of lips. The Satin finish is great while applying. The beautiful sheen add the richness to the lipstick. Within 1-2 hours, they settle to a matte finish. There is no particular fragrance or scent to the formula and that’s one of my favorite part.
Next, comes the hand swatches! I have included pictures taken in natural day light with and without flash so that you get to see the true color of the lipstick.

Overall, MatteTrance Lipsticks from Pat McGrath are beautiful with a luxury packaging, color selection and formula. These are not drying on lips. Finish is sheen satin and applies creamy and settle to a matte finish after about 1-2 hours. If you want to get that matte look when applied itself, be sure to blot them and set with a translucent powder. They are not transfer-proof though. Formula feels comfortable on lips and they don’t cling on to the dry areas of your lips or settle to fine lines on lips. They don’t have any added fragrance or scent to them and I love that factor too.
If you are looking for a satin finish that settles to a non drying matte. creamy coverage in a single swipe, something that feels light-weight on lips – Don’t look back! Pat McGrath got you covered! Variety of shades to choose from!

Now that you have seen the swatches with and without flash – You might be wondering about the quality, formula, pigmentation etc.
Let’s talk about theimpressive side first. I am rally in love with how versatile the palette is. I am absolutely impressed with the color selection. During my travels, I would only want to carry this. For me – this is more than enough to create all the different eye looks for all outfits day as well as night.
Formula – While I wasn’t particularly impressed with some of the lighter shades; especially form the first row – ‘Weekender’, ‘Still Shot’ etc in the first row of this palette. I found other shades that are super pigmented and easily blendable too. You girls can easily make out from my swatches. All of the swatches feature double swipe of each shade. You guys can easily spot that some of the lighter colors lack pigmentation. However, the intensity changes when you apply them using a damp brush (Spritz some Urban Decay Setting Spray on the brush tip before picking the shade) etc.
Talking about shade range – I am impressed with the colors in this palette that ranges from copper bronze to smokey brown neutrals, purples, pinks, blue and greens
All shades except 2-3 lighter shades in first row are well pigmented. They have a velvety soft texture that applies and blends out easily. The satin shimmers and metallic finishes applies beautifully and they really blends like a dream. So soft and silky when applied. I noticed no fallout which is a big plus.
The mattes are overall good except for Weekender and Still Shot that appeared as a chalky texture making them difficult to blend.
The longevity of the eyeshadows are pretty impressive too. They lasted for a long time. I wore them for over 7+ hours which is great. My most favorite shades in the palette are Wanderlust, Smog, Gulit Trip, Radio, Big Sky, Double Life etc.
Overall, I love this palette and I think out of all the UD palettes I own, this is by far my favorite. I can see myself using this a lot. For the price point you are getting a variety of colors to try in a attractive packaging. If you are searching for a palette that can be used to create a number of day as well as night looks. Mafra – A dark berry with a matte finish. While applying I found that the formula isn’t as creamy as that of 66. It dries to a matte finish. While applying you will feel a frosty kind of a finish. Nothing uncomfortable. Shade looks lovely and if you are fan of berry and purple toned shades like me – You will love this! It has micro shimmers to it that looks pretty.
Ready – A bright rose metallic sparkle color. Sort of a color that I don’t reach out to much. But, it’s stunning for any creative looks. It has the perfect sparkles to it which doesn’t feel much gritty on lips. The metallized formula feels comfortable on lips. If you have extremely dry lips – You might want to ensure you use a very hydrating lip balm prior to using the shade – Ready
66 – Shade 66 is a rich mauve nude color that has a matte finish. It applies velvety smooth and it’s my favorite finish out of the three. Highly pigmented. A single swipe provides an unbelievable laydown of color—with soft and supple texture, It suits most skintones.
Moving onto swatches
Overall, really pretty lip colors from Urban Decay. I love the shade Marfa and 66 the most. The formula is very comfortable on lips. Stays for long time and I am absolutely in love with the packaging. Very colorful packaging that awaken the wanderlust in you!

I really love it when a drug store brand releases the products that are of same quality as that of the high-end ones. L’oreal True Match Lumi Collection is no exception. From liquid to loose powder, cream and powder highlighters. These products are all meant for multi-purpose. Every skintone can find their match. Powder Highlighter palettes are pretty too.
