Hi dearies…….Hope you all are doing great!! its now, the most boring day of the whole week…Monday!
I was always in search of a good foundation which doesn’t make me look like a ghost under flash photography…So,When I found this which claim to be photo ready as well as airbrush foundation…Without a second thought I picked it from Boots 🙂
So, Here I am with the review 🙂

Be careful not to store this near a heater or any other type of hot surface:
if you want more of an yellow based foundation, You can go for medium beige, rich ginger or natural beige.
Actually I wanted to pick up medium beige,But I ended up picking golden beige which was more neutral. I wanted a neutral color rather than yellowish..(For reference I am NC42 in MAC)
This is perfect for me during winters…Medium beige is perfect for MAC NC 40 skintones. I’m sure it can match MAC NC35-37 coloring as well.
natural Beige is for MAC NC30 skintones

My experience using Revlon Photoready Airbrush Mousse Makeup

And here’s what one quick pump of the nozzle  (Note: too much product dispenses no matter how hard I try to control it):

Right after dispensing this product onto your hand, you’ll see a lot of bubbles.
This is a kind of airy mousse. Once you start to work the product in a bit with your finger or foundation brush, the bubbles become tiny and the product itself turns quite watery and slick:

And after a few minutes on my face (after blending), this product seeps into my fine lines  (no “smooth, poreless look”  for me) however, when I try after applying benefit porefessional primer, It hides the majority of my flaws, evens out my complexion and makes my face glowy and airbrushed. It dries to a semi-matte that isn’t at all dull.

But in sunlight, there is that signature PhotoReady special shimmers (which is also in the other PhotoReady foundations):

  1. About the coverage : I feel after blending, It actually dries down to a medium-to-sheer coverage product for me.
  2. About texture :  If you prefer thin, more watery foundations over thicker, creamier ones, this might be a good fit for you.
  3. About Staying power : The lasting power is good. It lasts me a full day with minor fading.I do get shiny after a few hours, so I’ll just make sure to dust my face with a little setting powder. One thing I’ve noticed is that after a few hours, the foundation looks darker on my face than when it was first applied. I’m not sure if this has happened to anyone else
  4. About fragrance : very mild..

This is how it looks on me soon after application. I have used MAC concealer to cover my under eyes here

My final thoughts
I love the way this foundation looks when it’s first applied, but I don’t love the way my face looks a few hours later. I find that the color oxidizes a little bit and in the daylight, my face looks orange. i find this same problem of oxidizing for MAC foundations too. This foundation has great coverage and a pretty finish, but it’s not HG material for me mostly due to the oxidation. I will probably finish up the bottle, but I’m unsure if I’d re-purchase it.

Hope you find this review useful……
Bye dearies!
