Za Skin Beauty Liquid Foundation ; Shade: 22

Posted on July 27, 2015June 16, 2016 by renjianooj

If you are someone who is looking for a lightweight everyday foundation that gives a smoother look and feel with a sheer – medium coverage. Then, this product is for you. You must have read the Za perfect fit foundation review here. In this post,  I am going to share my opinion on Za Skin Beauty Liquid Foundation – Shade: 22. Now, this foundation comes in 4 different shades; 20,21,22 – warm skintones & 32 – Pink skintones. 20 is the lightest shade in the range.  22 suits most warm toned Indian skintones. I am a NC 40 in MAC and 22 is a perfect match for me.

Product Description
Blends seamlessly into skin with a satiny-smooth feel. Minimizes the appearance of pores and uneven skin tone for a beautifully natural and radiant finish.Non-clogging to pores,Incredibly light texture.
Contains as much as hyaluronic acid as in a bottle of essence. Vitamin E and Minerals.

Packaging & Price : 20 $NZD for 30 ml of product
Comes in a small bottle with a silver metallic cap. The cute packaging is in a squeezy lightweight bottle which is very hygienic as you just squeeze out how much you like with no wastage. I personally think it looks cute and classy. One has to twist the cap to open the bottle.  It’s not hard to squeeze to get the product out but you do have to shake it well before using so that foundation is nicely mixed inside 🙂

My experience using the productIMG_1720

This is a  sheer-medium coverage foundation similar to MAC Face & Body. I love the dewy finish it gives after application and the texture is very much like MAC Face & Body.  It also has anti-aging skin care built in ((Hyaluronic Acid) so it smooths and treats your skin, and doesn’t cake if you want to build up the layers. Doesn’t irritate my super sensitive skin.

I got the shade 22 which is the darkest in this range. suits medium Indian skintones.
The texture is very light weight. I have sensitive skin and this time my skin does not sting, itch, get red and puffy, no break outs too. If you have sensitive skin you might like to try this. I’ve tried lots of application methods ; All worked well, For eg:  from applying with fingers, a damp Beauty Blender , Sigma F80, Zoeva Buffer foundation brush, Real Techniques Expert face brush etc. I like the dewy finish it gives.  Right now its winter in Auckland and so, I don’t usually set my  foundation. If you have oily skin; You can set the foundation using a loose powder like Ben Nye.

This liquid foundation provides sheer to medium coverage. Though it doesn’t cover blemishes and acne scars, it really does even out the skin tone. Blends well and adheres well too. The lasting power is nothing to feel proud about though. At the end of the day, everything is almost gone. But I would still use this if I’m only going out for 3-4 hours nothing more than that.

Now, After all goods, Lets talk about its flaws. For instance this doesn’t last long. Especially if your skin is oily. This is not sweat resistant as well. If you tend to sweat a lot the foundation will wear out away in few hours. 3 maybe? It doesn’t appear matte as well. For my skin it gives a healthy glow only for relatively 3-4 hours, after that it start to shine especially on my T-Zone area.

See the swatch below.

Ignore my dark circles. I haven’t concealed my under eye area 🙁 za

This foundation will not be for you if you aim to conceal scars/imperfections. All it does is gives your skin a veil of canvas making it look more radiant and even toned. I didn’t experience any moisturizing properties after using it, however it didn’t dry out my skin either. If you want a light and natural looking radiant finish, this one is a must have! You might still need a higher SPF value cause this one has only SPF 18.PA++.

**Product send by brand PR for consideration. However, my review remains honest & unbiased as always.

The bottle is a little different from the one we get in India but the results sounds similar. I like it for natural daily wear. You look super cute Renji <3
