A perfect lipstick that lasts all day, and compliment well with subtle as well as smokey eyemakeup looks is every girl’s dream. I am always in search of my prefect lipstick shade. I try a lot of brands, get send a lot of lipsticks to trial and review. It’s very hard for me to choose a “one favorite” out of all the lipsticks that I own. I have a bunch of favorite shades in both high end as well as drugstore lipstick brands. However, it’s very rare where I like all the shades from a single brand. In today’s post I am doing a collective swatch + LOTD for all the 7 lipsticks from Elizabeth Arden.

Packaging & Price

Comes in this beautiful gold packaging! How gorgeous they are.  I am sold on lipstick packaging alone! It looks and feels luxurious. The silver inner casing and gold outer casing which is embossed metal which resembles the iconic Elizabeth Arden Red Door and the lid closes with a click sound 🙂 It’s heavy, but sturdy and beautiful. Its a perfect addition to your vanity table. Overall, I am in love with how they are designed after the famous Elizabeth Arden Red Door panels(Elizabeth Arden Spa in New York). Love how its embossed on the bullet. Very chic and feminine. 😀 such a lengthy packaging description alone right- Well, you know how it is; If you are talking about your favorites, You can go on and on talking about them..

My experience using them
Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Ultra Lipstick comes in 24 gorgeous shades. The texture of this lipstick is super super creamy and applies very smoothly, velvety smooth. My lips felt moist and hydrated and it wears well.  Because of its super creamy texture, It tends to spread/bleed into lines around the mouth. It’s highly pigmented. Staying power is about 7-7.5 hours. It has a variety of shades to choose from from reds to pinks to berries to nudes- It has it all! Every one can find their perfect match and the color looks so unique. I have the shade – Brick that suits all skin tones. It’s super pretty.

Key Ingredients: Ceramides (Ceramide 1, Ceramide 3 and Ceramide 6 II), a naturally occurring lipid which are moisture magnets. Hydrogentaed coconut oil (to condition skin), shea butter (to condition skin, anti-oxidant and healing properties), sucrose cocoate (to balance and maintain moisture levels) and portulaca pilosa extract (skin conditioning agent).

Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color Moisturizing Lipsticks are available in 40 shades. I got the shades –  21 Mocha Shimmer, 02 Red Door Red, 38 Fig, 33 Wildberry, 39 Beauty, 25 Sweet Pink. All of them are gorgeous colors and Fig, Red Door Red & Beauty are my all time favorites. All of the shades are very opaque with single swipe. Staying power is great too. I get about 6-6.5 hours of wear. Fig is my favorite day time shade. It compliments my skintone (NC40 ) very well.

Key Ingredients:
Moisture Binding Spheres: Hydrate and seal in moisture to provide smoother lips.
Volulip: Delivers and locks moisture into lips to give them a fuller, plumper appearance.
Moisture Enriched Pigments: Moisturising spheres surround and moisturise each pigment providing rich, lasting colour, while making lips feel smooth and soft.
