A lot of people suffer from clogged pores. The pores on your skin get clogged with oil, dead skin cells, and everyday dirt. It is very important to keep the pores free of clogs to prevent blackheads and acne. The best way to get rid of clogged pores is to follow a good daily skin care routine. Regular exfoliation of your skin will remove dead skin cells, oil, dirt and other impurities that lead to clogged pores. I make sure I exfoliate my face everyday. For every day exfoliation- I use handmade scrubs from Gia Bath & Body Works & Juicy Chemistry. I also make sure I deep exfoliate my face using a good scrub every week. I don’t stick to one particular brand when it comes to scrub. I experiment a lot with facial scrubs and in today’s post- I am reviewing a facial exfoliator from the ApiNoursih Range by Manuka Doctor.
A gentle, replenishing facial exfoliator to visibly polish, refine, brighten & resurface for a more radiant looking complexion – hydration for youthful looking skin. Invigorate & refresh a dull looking complexion with this nourishing facial exfoliator. Smooth, refine & renew, whilst working against the appearance of dark spots & sun damaged skin.
Manuka Doctor ApiNourish Polishing Facial Exfoliator will allow you to say goodbye to those annoying skin imperfections we all have and give you beautiful, smooth and soft skin. After the winter months, our dull-looking complexion is in great need of being refreshed and invigorated. This exfoliator has the ability to pamper and polish your skin by resurfacing and most importantly of all – hydrating!
The age-defying creamy formula cleanses the skin by removing makeup and reducing oil and impurities that build up daily, while protecting the skin’s moisture levels to create visibly brighter, silky smooth skin. The presence of Sweet Almond Oil effectively balances moisture in dry and irritated skin and another added bonus is of course Manuka Doctor’s hero ingredient of Purified Bee Venom (PBVTM), which is delivered into the skin to create age-defying protection.

My experience using Manuka Doctor ApiNourish Polishing Facial Exfoliator
The texture of the product is really creamy with tiny granules for exfoliation. Now, The harshness level depends on how you massage it onto your face. I mainly target it on certain areas of my face – such as around my mouth and nose area. I go for a medium level massage and this granules help me exfoliate the nose area ad around my mouth and help me get rid of any blackheads. This exfoliator has purified bee venom in it. So, if you are allergic to bee venom- it’s not for you. This product leaves the area smooth after washing. Granules can be too harsh if you don’t use it in the right way. But I won’t tell it’s as harsh as LUSH ocean Salt. It does the job wonderfully.
Overall, One must exfoliate with utmost care and depending on the skin type/skin sensitivity . This will determine the frequency of exfoliation. Smell of this is quite pleasant. After you wash off the scrub using warm water- Make sure you moisturise the area. I use a serum/rosehip oil as soon as I dry my face with a towel after exfoliation. Undoubtedly, this exfoliator does wonders in clearing out the pores. It helps reduce excess oil on the skin and tighten the skin pores. Also, the manuka honey keep the skin hydrated. My skin never felt dry after using this. However, its not for everyday use.
