How stunning these chubby crayons look! They remind me a lot about those chubby sticks from Clinique!
Lets’s peek into the old shades first. Here are 6 old shades that are available. As seen on www.revlon.com .Swatches in the same order. From (L-R) – 205-Elusive, 225-Sultry, 240-Striking, 210-Unapologetic, 250-Standout, 220-Showy
I must say, I am really really impressed by these. The color of the stick exactly matches that of the shade which is amazing. They are pigmented and gives a minty feel on application. The retractable jumbo lip pencil packaging makes it easier to use. They’re semi-matte, very light weight on lips , moisturizing , some of the shades are long wearing etc. There is a slight variation with the formula and opacity between shades. They highlight any imperfection and dryness on your lips, so exfoliating and prepping your lips is a must before you start using these. The color is buildable. If i layer it on heavier, it gets much intense and bold. So, I would say the pigmentation and intensity depends on how much you layer this product on lips. The light peppermint fragrance it has is amazing. The formula sits comfortably on the lip; no drying out etc, which is especially surprising with a drugstore matte formula.
This is very good choice for a day look where you don’t want to apply a lip balm + lipstick- But don’t need a heavy matte lipstick too. These double up as a balm plus add a pop of color. If you ask me my favorite shades -I would say – Standout, Firce, Sultry & Fiery! The convenience of a crayon, the comfort of a balm with rich velvet finish – all you need for standout lips! Plus no sharpener is an advantage! Total love!!
