Out of all the makeup – Eye Shadow Palettes are my favorite ones.. I have to say I’m very selective when it comes to Eye Shadows- I trust only particular brands and unless I know I will definitely have use for all of the shades, I don’t buy it. When the original Lorac Pro Palette was released I held off, but this beauty I just couldn’t resist. I grabbed it through an Instagram group – Royallicious. It has plenty of warm and cool neutrals, but also a few more bold shades to spice up any look . Continue Reading to know about this palette which is very versatile and pretty much perfect for any occasion.

Packaging & Price
The LORAC PRO Palette 2 is available  for 42 $ at Ulta & Sephora. Comes in a cardboard packaging with an outer case. Also includes a small size of the Behind The Scenes Eye Primer – I love it. helps keep my eyeshadow in place through heat and sweating, so it makes a wonderful addition to the palette. I would have loved if they had included a brush too like Urban Decay Eye Shadow Palettes.

This palette is my absolute favorite in terms of texture, pigmentation and ease of blending. As you can pretty much see from the pictures- how much I have used. The shades – Buff, Rose & Mocha are my favorites from the palette. I am so, so excited for the awesome shades! Between the rosy hues of Mocha and Rosé, to the pigmented Navy, taupey Cool Gray, and richly luxurious Cocoa, the color selection is fabulous. there are eight matte finish shadows in the top row, and the bottom row has eight satin and shimmer finishes. The pans hold .02 oz each for a total of .32oz of product all together- the same as the original Pro Palette.

Moving to shade descriptions – First Low- L-R

Buff  is the lightest matte in the palette, is a warm-toned cream color. This is my favorite brow bone highlighter shade

Lt. Brown is a warm-toned  brown. It worls well as an all-over lid color, transition shade while blending and as a crease color. Versatile! Very much buttery in the pan, richly pigmented, and blends nicely.

Cool Gray is a nice taupe shade. This has a light purple undertone to it…It feels silky and buttery, but is not quite as pigmented as other shades, But very easy to build up the shade and blend out.

Nectar is a pretty peachy-pink shade. Peach is very brightening to most skin tones and eye colors, and this is the kind of shadow I love wearing as a wash of color all over the lid . Nectar is so soft and pigmented, and blends easily. I love this as an overall color for my eyelids.

Plum is a warm-toned matte purple.  Has the same texture as Nectar, soft and silky. It can be packed on for a dense color.

Navy is a dark navy blue matte. While it looks more of a cobalt blue on the pan – Its actually a navy. Very  very pigmented.  It’s less soft and buttery as other shades, but not at all gritty or chalky.

Charcoal is a warmer grey, blends super easily. my least favorite shade though!

Black is a more of a deeper version of charcoal, It’s also soft and buttery like most of the other matte shades, but is not as pigmented as it could be. It does blend out very nicely though.

Snow is a frosty white, shimmery metallic. It’s very soft, smooth, and surprisingly pigmented. When sheered out, it’s very beautiful, almost pearlescent.

Beige is a soft, cool-toned beige shimmer. It’s very close to my skin, actually, and contains a lot of pink. Very pretty. This one is luxuriously pigmented- you barely need to touch it!  Also blends out wonderfully. The shimmer in it is really light-catching and sparkly- but not glittery at all! Very fine-milled.

Rosé is a gorgeous shade with pink undertones.Very easy to work with. One of the most shades by me  🙂

Mocha is a bronze satin finish with pink undertones. Another mind blowing shade. love it equally as previous shade.

Chrome ‘  has a bit of a duochrome- shade is super blendable.

Silver is cool-toned metallic silver. But, I experienced a little bit of fallout when using this shade.

Jade is a warm-toned, olive green with golden finely-milled shimmer.  A lovely shade perfect for both day and night time looks.

Cocoa is a warm-toned chocolate brown. amazing color payoff. Most shimmery shade in the palette, and the shimmer particles themselves are mostly golden, but once in a while I seem to see a flash of green. Interesting! Super soft and blendable. love it!!

Have a look at the swatches –  All shadows are shown left to right, as they appear in the palette, over naked skin with no primer

Overall, An awesome palette with a good mix of matte and shimmery shades suitable to create a bunch of day and night looks!! A versatile palette with amazingly pigmented shadows that blends super easily, lasts for about 7-8 hours with a primer underneath and easy to carry around.. .The slimmer packaging is perfect!
