Happy New Year everyone! What a great way to start New Year by featuring one of my favorite product from one of my favorite natural brand from India. When I initially posted a sneak peak of this palette on my insta stories sometime last week, a lot of you DMd me asking my opinion. It’s good to see Soap Works India entering the makeup line. I absolutely adore all her formulations and when she came up with a new palette, I wanted to test it. KASHAY PALETTE from Earth Rhythm – Soap Works is a all-in-one palette that has 20 baked & clay based shades.
I am someone who trave lot. And, I must admit that one of the most tough thing to do while packing is getting all the makeup items bubble wrapped. How many times I thought whether all the things that I would want to carry with me during a trip was available in one palette. Having said this, let me also admit that I am not a light packer at all. There is nothing more difficult than choosing the makeup items which are worthy of traveling during your trip or a mini getaway. Digging through the huge collection of makeup unable to decide which one to go for or carrying lots of makeup items and never using any of them etc is a huge disappointment and wastage of space as well. We might end up forgetting to carry that special makeup item too!! Don’t know how many of you experienced this. But for me this is what happens everytime I plan a travel.
Soap Works India’s creation – KASHAY PALETTE saves so much packing space and it’s exactly what you need while traveling.
What wonderful selection of shades. A collection of versatile, warm-toned colors to match every skintone. Can be used wet or dry to create beautiful day-night looks. Apply dry for a traditional wash of color, or with a dampened brush to achieve maximum intensity.

Time to check the swatches
I totally love the beautiful mix of colors in foiled, matte and satin finishes. this all-in-one palette also includes blush (soft pink), a contouring tone (warm brown) as well as a cool highlighter.
Really pretty glitter colors. Fall leaf and royal blue are my favorites. They sit amazingly well without a glitter base too. As always with glitter colors, there are minimal fallout and if used on top of glitter base, fallout can be reduced to an extend. I like how well the glitter colors can be paired for an array of looks. Especially with black , purple, pink & green colors, these glittery shades standout.
She Young – a beautiful soft matte color that is perfect for inner corner highlight. Beautiful baby pink that can double up as a brow bone highlight color too.
Unicorn Tears – is a beautiful peacy pink color. Super easily blendable. Can be worn on its own or paired up with darker colors for a intense smokey look. Live the velvety texture too.
Dusty Rose – what a stunning color. A proper rosey pink color. If I ever have to select one shade of blush for the rest of my life. It would be the same color. This rosey pink shade look fabulous for any eyelooks and again super easy shade to work with.
Velvet – Slightly darker shade than Dusty Rose. Beautiful vibrant rosey pink shade that is perfect to be paired with glitter or matte colors. I noticed this shade is a little tough to pick using brush and I felt it has slight frost finish as compared to other matte variants. But using fingers, it blended well.
Gold Lust – beautiful champagne pink color. Love the micro shimmers in it. Look fabulous on its own or with other mix of shades
Honeymoon – vibrant coppery color with the right orange undertones. Look fabulous to create looks to suit most ethnic wear.
20 – beautiful peach champagne shade. Lovely mix of pink and peach undertones
Twilight – what a beautiful shade of blue. Lovely color when used using a wet brush. Beautiful to apply with black or other dark colors and along lasgline. Gives a bold look of used as liner. One of my favorite colors from the palette
Cashmere – baby pink color. Not a great fan of the shade. But when paired with other colors, it looks good.
Vintage – Shade ‘Vintage’ look more of a neutral brown on the palette. But, when swatched it’s slightly different and has more peach undertones to it. Yet, a good transition color that blends really well.
Pumpkin Pie – A beautiful peach color.
Cocoa – a beautiful chocolate brown color that looks wonderful as a transition color, smokey eye looks etc.. again, one of my most favorite colors from the palette.
The highlighter, blush shade suits most Indian skintones while I felt contour color to be a little coppery for my liking. I prefer subtle and dark shades of brown for contour color. Also, I felt the black smokey color could have been more intense.
Overall, I love the range of colors which are perfect for day/ night looks. I am impressed with the staying power too. Colors were easily blendable and this palette is one of my most used at the moment considering the beautiful colortones which suit most outfits that I usually wear. When I used a wet brush the colors looked more intense and I love them for not creasing on my eyelid.
