MAC Lipstick – Chatterbox

Hello my honey buns, how are you my girlies, beautiful like diamonds in the sky..!! The name of this lipstick that I am reviewing today and my nature match each other like bread and butter CHATTERBOX, this is what I am ,and this Barbie pink colour makes me talk about this lipstick even more,lets move on to know how I feel about it…..

What MAC claim about Chatterbox
MAC describes Chatterbox as bright red pink in an Amplified finish. Red… err red really ,I thought we identify this colour as pink

My experience using MAC Chatterbox
Pigmentation: on this part it really pays off goes almost opaque in one swipe so one product is going to last ages for sure and with the horrendous price ,it better lasts long
Colour : The color is a milky bright Barbie pink ,like the cutest Barbie pink,in the tube it looks like a light baby pink with really pale undertones but when applied to the lips it looks a yellow-pink with slight blue undertones
Packaging:comes in the classic mac black bullet with 3 gms of product in it
Texture: It comes in the much coveted amplified finish from mac,that is creamy and highly pigmented.

It is a color that needs a bold heart to be carried off, not everybody can be comfortable hooking on to this shade, as it is a very pretty Barbie girly color but is on the paler side,so might be difficult for major Indian skin tones to be pulled upon,

Even tough I am a person who is comfortable with bright shades really well, but this being on the pale side makes me do little tricks to apply it and make it work for me

What I do is I don’t go for an opaque swipe from tube instead I dab on spots of this from the tube on my lips and blend it with my fingers so the I get the colour pretty  well but dabbing takes away the paleness to a good extent

For the finish I really love amplified finishes from mac as they are creamy and hydrating along with great colour payoff

The lasting power of the lipstick is awesome as always and lasts a good 4-5 hours before fading into a pink tint. but  It has an awful tendency to settle and highlight the fine lines and dry patches on lips so be careful and try to exfoliate before application

If you are looking for a bright Barbie pink, this might be the soulmate But fisrt try it on yourself  at the store and observe yourself under natural light to make sure it’s worth your 1450 INR otherwise

-Great pigmentation goes on opaque in 1-2 swipes!
-Smooth, creamy application even on dry lips
-Lasting power is good, well through 4-5 hours
-Yummy vanilla fragrance

Cons
-Difficult to suit Indian skintones
-Tricky in application
-Whooping price :/ 1450 INR 🙁

Overall, A great lipstick for fair skin tones… Not a must have shade from MAC.

    1. Well yeah lee its a bit difficult to carry on… touhh wat u can do for application is top it over a darker pink lipcolor or stain so that takes away the paleness
