Hey beautiful ladies out there…..Hope you all are doing great…..
Today I am reviewing the MAC Retro Matte Lipstick – All Fired Up
“All fired up” hearing the name we can pretty assume that the shade might be something that will keep the flame up among makeup lover…and yes “All fired up” was pretty successful in creating the hype by its shade….Yes today I am going to share my experience with “all fired up”…I know I am pretty late to review it but I think it worth the waiting …: P
The shade is described by Mac as bright fuschia shade with hint of red in matte finish. Among all the shades from retro matte collection I found this shade is most versatile shade that will suit to all.
Packaging & Price
Price : 990 Rs; Qty: 3 g
Mac Previously launched ruby woo as the one and only lipstick from retro matte collection after the huge response about the shade and texture mac launch another line of collection inspiring from Ruby woo in the same range that is “retro matte lipstick “ . All fired up is belong to this retro matte collection.

 Ingredients

The packaging of the lipstick is the usual black and silver one with the famous MAC vanilla scent. Coming to the texture as the shades are pretty inspired from ruby woo so I found the texture is really dry. In fact I found a bit tugging and pulling my lips during application of this lipstick so application of lip balm before applying lipstick is suggested else you end up an uneven finish on lips that will look pretty dry and after sometime it will get a feel of peeling of lipstick from lips….i know it sounds not good at all but the shade of the lipstick is so pretty and the matte finish of the lipstick in the tube will attract anyone towards itself to buy it.

Swatches, LOTD & My take on the lipstick
The shade of the lipstick is bright fuchsia with hint of red that is pretty suitable to everyone. The staying power of the lipstick is pretty good. It stays near about 6 hours. And it doesn’t transfer at all. The pigmentation of the lipstick is awesome. One to two swipes is enough to get the actual shade. As it is a retro matte one so it never tends to bleed or feather. In short it is a perfect lipstick for summer.
Okay so here are ohh la la parts:-
  • ·         Nice shade will suit everyone.
  • ·         Pigmented.
  • ·         Totally matte finish.
  • ·         Stays more than 6 hours.
  • ·         Never transfers to cups and glass.
  • ·         The vanilla scent.
  • ·         Never bleeds or feather.

Now the ohhhhh noooo part:-
·         If proper exfoliation and moisturize of lips not done before applying lipstick then the lipstick tends to dry your lips giving an uneven finish that might look pretty scary.
·         Availability: Although it going to permanent range but still it is not so you may not found it in store till now L

My rating: – 4/5.
Overall thoughts
Mac all fired up is a pretty and versatile shade. Although the texture didn’t impress me much but I can’t deny the pigmentation and staying power and the gorgeousness of this lipstick. This one lipstick really pop up my skin tone a bit brighter so if you get a chance to grab it then go for it J
