Shade : This is one foundation that most beauty bloggers  compared favourably to the MUFE HD Foundation. I picked 2 shades from this collection. One lighter shade and one warmer shade. When I mix these two, it gives a perfect match for my NC40 skintone. I also use HDF07:Warm Sand alone sometimes with HDF02:Soft beige blended under my eyes.

Packaging : Comes in a plastic lightweight bottle with a pump. Easy and convenient to travel with.

Texture & Formula : This foundation has a creamy to fluid texture that blends to a satin finish which feels matte.

Pigmentation/Coverage : You’ll get medium to almost full coverage and the pigment technology behind this make up, like many of today’s best foundations, allows the coverage to blur imperfections and improve skin tone without feeling or looking like a mask. Formula is best to be used for normal to dry skin. Foundation is very light weight and blends in perfectly to the skin. It does exactly what it claims. I use my Sigma Flat top kabuki F80 to apply this. I fill in my pores using Benefit Primer and apply this foundation to areas where I need more coverage.. It leaves my skin looking very natural. One pump of the product actually covers up the entire face. The finish is dewy, not overly so that you look greasy, but just dewy in a very natural way. Very good foundation for daytime looks and flash photography looks. This foundation photographs wonderfully.

Staying Power: One thing I noted is – it doesn’t oxidize, but when it is set using a compact or loose powder (I use Ben Nye Banana Powder ), It turn more orangey than yellow from what you see first. It gives a good coverage from the first layer and it really tone down the redness of my ane scars , spots or even redness around my nose area.Staying power is about 7 hours which is wonderful.  Love it and will continue purchasing it.

Overall, a great drugstore foundation. Easy to dispense pump makes it easier to dispense the product. Formula blends in well without looking cakey. Gives a nice dewy look that lasts for about 7 hours. Photographs really well. A great budget dupe for MUFE HD foundation. One thing I noted is – it doesn’t oxidize, but when it is set using a compact or loose powder (I use Ben Nye Banana Powder ), It turn more orangey than yellow from what you see first. So – Buy a shade that is a little lighter to your original skintone. You can also avoid this problem by buying two shades and mixing them to get your perfect shade.

Hey. Your review seems nice. I had to ask, if I use a lighter shade, as you suggested, would it leave a white cast or anything?

I guess yes…A lighter shade if its not a perfect match for your actual skintone can look ashy when blended.
