Packaging & Price
Maybelline Colorsensational Lip Gradation are a color stick at one end that gives you a gorgeous pop of color while the cushion blender tool at the other end give a sexy, graded look. This tool is used to smudge the product on your lips to create a softer look. The overall packaging is sturdy and easy to carry around.

For a complete trend-on look, apply color on the centre of your upper lip and use the sponge smudger to extend the color to the outer edges till the contours of your lips or use it as a matte lip color or a lip liner.

The moment I saw the packaging, I was impressed. I like the twist up- retractable kind of packaging. Easy and convenient. Minimal wastage of product. Also, The INR 500 for each sounds awesome! It’s right available at Nykaa for a discounted price of INR 475 each.

Formula, Pigmentation & Longevity

Maybelline Lip Gradation lipsticks are really pigmented. With just one swipe. It covers your lips. It is very creamy and glides really easily on the lips. The finish is matte. It doesn’t settle on the fine lines. Applies creamy and  feels very soft and comfortable on the lips. Even if you layer the product, It doesn’t feel heavy at all. Out of the 2 shades  I recevied – RED2 & CORAL1 ; RED2 is my favorite. It is just the perfect blue based red that suits most skintones. The lasting power is about 3-4 hours and it survive light meals. It has no fragrance which I love about it. I am not a fan of CORAL1. Maybe it’s not very flattering on my skintone (NC40). Though, RED2 didn’t settle onto the fine lines of my lips, I find CORAL1 a little more creamy and I feel it transfers easily. I also found that CORAL1 didn’t last more than 3 hours on my lips.

Overall, I love RED2 shade. It’s really pretty and highly pigmented. CORAL1 is not my kind of shade. If you like similar shades- You can give it a try. In general,Maybelline ColorSensational Lip Gradation is available in 6 shades. They have a matte finish. Easily glide onto lips. Has no fragrance. After about 4 hours- These start to fade leaving a beautiful tint on your lips. These double up as a lip liner too. These comes off pretty quickly using your cleansing oil. Worth giving a try for the affordable price tag!

Have you tried Maybelline Lip Gradation. If yes, Which is your favorite shade ?

Coral seems to be washing out deeper tones! I have this in red1 and it’s very flattering 🙂
