These creamy eye shadows have a lovely light weight texture with gorgeous pigmentation and a metallic foil finish. These are available in 6 beautiful shades – Guns & Rose Petals, Plum Diddy, Gold Gaga, Jay Zed, Pearl Jammin and Lana Del Grey. I will be reviewing the first 4 shades – Guns & Rose Petals, Plum Diddy, Gold Gaga & Jay Zed today

All of these are very very creamy and highly pigmented. They can be used for everyday looks or dramatic looks. Depends on how you want to use it. They are enriched with Vitamin E and antioxidants. They are very light-weight and so, doesn’t feel heavy on eye lids at all. What I love about this is one can apply a sheer layer of this first and then build the color till you reach the desired intensity for an amazing opaque metallic look. I used this as a lid color and also as a base for my glittery and other matte eye shadows. It works well in both way. I was using maybelline color tattoos previously. but I found them very difficult to blend. I like australis more then maybelline ones. This one, goes on like a dream and can be blended very easily. I like to use my fingers to blend this. you can use a brush too if you want. Like, apply the shade using a flat shader brush and then using a fluffy blending brush- you can smoke out the intensity of the shadow. Take a look at the swatches.

Gorgeous, isnt it? I’d highly recommend you all to take a look at these Metallix shadows by Australis. With the mettalis/foil finish- they are truly unique. I have normal eyelids and this one didn’t crease at all.. You can always use a primer before hand if you have oily eye lid area. They are affordable, high quality ones, very much versatile and can be used to create a intense, dramatic night look or used used as a sheer color or as a base to your matte /glittery eye shadows. NZ price is RRP$9.90 (or $12 in Farmers) ; these can be purchased from all department stores nationwide and also online from Australis Cosmetics here

Have you tried Australis Metallix Eyeshadows ? Do you like them?
