Trilogy Age-Proof Active Enzyme Cleansing Cream| Review

Posted on January 22, 2016January 22, 2016 by renjianooj

Trilogy is one of my favorite brand and none of the products have ever failed on me.  I recently took up a new job role that requires a lot of travelling. In my busy life, I give equal importance to my CTM routine. Considering the amount of damage your skin is going through everyday, it’s very crucial to properly cleanse and nourish your skin with the right product for a healthy skin. After removing my makeup using my favorite cleansing balms/cleansing oils. I usually double cleanse and massage my damp face using my mirenesse pebblesonic cleanser / a face cleansing brush and a gentle face wash. I love the multi-tasking products that I can use for my skincare routine.

Trilogy offers a natural alternative with fruit enzymes to cleanse your face to reveal a more even, brighter complexion. After I emptied my tube of Balancing Gel Cleanser, I started using this Trilogy Age-Proof Active Enzyme Cleansing Cream. This doubles up as a cleanser and a face wash. IMG_8548

Trilogy Age-Proof Active Enzyme Cleansing Cream (200ml) RRP $47.90

Refine for a smoother, brighter complexion with active fruit enzymes, jojoba esters, vitamin E.

Enjoy the light sophisticated fragrance of our velvety cleanser as it gently removes all make-up, exfoliates and brightens your complexion.  Skin feels smoother, renewed and refined, and perfectly prepared for maximum serum and moisturiser absorption.

Trilogy Age-Proof Active Enzyme Cleansing Cream is a unique blend of active fruit enzymes and pure plant oils delivering luxurious cleansing to help you achieve your freshest complexion.

Tale a look at the ingredientsIMG_8550

Repackaged in a larger 200ml frosted grey pump bottle for ease of use, the silky, mousse-like formulation gently retexturises and renews the complexion, polishing away the build-up of skin-dulling impurities to reveal smooth, refined skin with a youthful radiant glow.  It’s the perfect way to revitalise your skincare regime for the New Year.

How I use it
I take one pump of it to my cleansing brush and gently massage onto my damp skin on face and neck in circular clockwise &anti-clockwise motion. After massaging for about 1-2 minutes , I rinse with warm water using a muslin cloth. I use it daily at night after removing my makeup.

What makes Trilogy Age-Proof Active Enzyme Cleansing Cream different from other cleansers in the market
Active fruit enzymes, papain from papaya and bromelain from pineapple help to regenerate the skin without exfoliating viable cells. Papain and bromelain break down and loosen dry, damaged or older cells from the skin’s surface, revealing a brighter, more radiant complexion. Bromelain also helps promote elasticity and reduce inflammation for smoother, more even skin tone. Licorice and mulberry brighten while jojoba esters smooth and reinforce the epidermis.  Vitamin E, a vital component for healthy skin, nourishes and helps fight free radical damage.

What I think about Trilogy Age-Proof Active Enzyme Cleansing Cream
The trilogy cleansing cream is of soft texture slightly runny and is formulated with fruit enzymes from papaya and pineapple and vitamin E for extra soothing. This cleansing cream is mild enough for daily use. You just need one pump for the entire face and neck. This leaves my skin feeling soft, clean, bright, and fresh without making my skin stretchy or dry. It’s a great solution for congested and dull looking skin. This definitely make your skin feel fresh. This didn’t give any breakouts or irritation on my skin. This has also done a great job of keeping those pesky pimples at bay, This seems to be a perfect balancing cleanser for my skin.

Trilogy Age-Proof Active Enzyme Cleansing Cream, certified ‘natural’ is listed in Fauna & Flora International’s Good Scrub Guide.  The guide was launched to help skincare buyers identify products that use safe, natural alternatives to plastic microbeads, which are a significant contributor to microplastic pollution in our oceans.

The only con I feel about this product is its price tag. NZD$47.90 for (200ml) is  too much for a cleanser . Although its a large bottle and is formulated with a lot of natural ingredients. With its thorough cleansing and gentle daily exfoliating action, Trilogy Age-Proof Active Enzyme Cleansing Cream leaves the skin perfectly prepared for maximum absorption of serums and creams. If you have sensitive skin and if you are looking for a gentle balancing cleanser/face wash. This is worth checking out. Buy it here

I do like the no ‘non-sense’ packing of the Triology Brand. Seems like a great product too.
