Shimmer Illuminators were quite a rage this year. I think Cover FX is one of the brand which came up with its iconic illuminators and from there everyone copied and created their own versions of highlighters and illuminators. Having tried a drop highlighter from Cover FX, I was quite excited to see this value set at ULTA. That too for a steal sale price of $12.50 ; It’s infact a $34.00 value being sold for $25.00. I got a really good bargain considering its price.

If you are regular reader of my blog, You’d probably know by now that MAC limited edition collection and new releases are my weakness! And I literally never leave any chance to stalk the site and collect my favorites before they even get officially launched on stores. Love being MAC obsessed.. When I first saw the collection preview on trendmood instagram, I knew I had to get it. In this post, I will be sharing my thoughts on all new MAC X Padmalakshmi Collection, a stunning masterpiece collection with beautiful packaging that suits every skintone.

MAC x Padma Lakshmi Collection is one of the latest collaboration between the brand and the most beautiful, Padma Lakshmi. This limited edition collection stands out. The wonderful Egyptian vibe gold packaging is stunning!  I picked few items from this collection when it got launched in the US. Guerlain creates its first complete palette with an harmony of matching colours to adorn the eyes, brows and cheeks. The wet & dry texture allows to create various looks, play with shades’ intensities and reflects.

Guerlain Gold Palette from Holiday 2017 collection – $80.00 for 0.50 oz. is a new, limited edition multi use – eye and cheek palette that contains 6 eyeshadows and 2 blushes. Brand says, the eyeshadows can be used dry for a natural coverage or wet for a lustrous or more intense coverage. The brand also say that gold shadow from the palette can be applied alone or as a topcoat.

Colourpop Cosmetics’ve been my favorite brand lately. I rarely miss any of their new launches and this mini palette that features warm-toned shades, a mix of matte and metallic finishes was my first purchase of COlourpop from Sephora. Initially, this mini palette was only launched on Sephora- later made available on official site as well.
