Too Faced is one brand that kill everyone with its adorably packaged limited edition holiday sets. I have a endless love towards this brand. All of the products I have tried from them are by far my favorites and this is no exception! I know I took a lot of time to review this. I was supposed to review it during the new year’s time exactly when I got it. But, I had to give myself some time to use all of the palettes in this collection.
Too Faced have a Christmas in Paris theme with all of their holiday offerings, and OMG, it’s the best theme ever! ican never think of a more girly packaging! I have already reviewed few of the other Too Faced holiday sets – Check out those as well.
Moving onto the Too Faced Le Grand Chateau- a holiday set featuring three eyeshadow + blush/bronzer palettes and a deluxe size Better Than Sex mascara.
First of all, HOW CUTE IS THIS PACKAGING? Imagine waking upto this on your vanity everyday! Cutest lil thing ever! I can never think of waking upto this ever again – Don’t mistake me 😛 hahha…One of my friend’s daughter who visited our house was crying endlessly for it from the moment she saw this on my vanity. TOO FACED Le Grand Chateau Collection ($49.00) (Limited Edition)
The top of the little house pops open and you have 3 palettes inside with a deluxe sixed Better Than Sex Mascara. The front of the case with the cute door as in the pic above opens up to reveal the palettes and a pink room with a view of the moon and the Eiffel Tower (Check the picture below). The packaging is cardboard but it’s really sturdy and smooth to handle & it’s heavy as well. The lid or rather the roof of this lil house comes off really smoothly and the front door have a magnetic closure. Hats off to the creativity!!

The palettes are simple yet chic, with a bow design on the cardboard packaging. Yo ucan almost feel the bow imprint and too faced written in golden on the bottom right. The palettes come with six shadows each and each palette comes with one cheek colour too.
In total this palette comes with 18 shadows, two blushes and one bronzer and the delux sized mascara
Too Faced Le Grand Chateau is an absolute dreamy gift and undoubtedly, the loveliest makeup present a girl could ask for.
Too Faced Le Grand Chateau Paris After Dark Palette
This palette has cooler tones to it. The shades are gorgeous, creamy and is highly pigmented too. Le Marais is a pale beige with pink shimmer. I was specially impressed by the colour pay off for the darker shades. The blush for this palette is Tres Fab. it’s a pretty pale pink on me with a slight sheen to it. I am not a fan of this blush. But, I love the eye shadows.

The shades in this palette are pink toned. The shades are really pigmented, the formulation is creamy and soft. It glides on easily. I just needed single swipe for the desired pigmentation. The light matte shade was very soft and it was not chalky at all. I love pink theme, Rose Copper mix of eye shadows. The bronzer Jolie is a soft shimmery bronzer. The shimmer particles are very fine and it’s not glittery.
Too Faced Le Grand Chateau Paris Au Naturale
This palette is really pretty – featuring my favorite golds and bronzes. This palette has warm colours. The shades in this palette are a mix of shimmery and matte shades. All of the shades are really pigmented, gorgeous and creamy. The top row has all matte shadows, and the bottom has two shimmery shades and one matte shade. All the shadows are really well-coordinated and texture is great! The blush Mademoiselle is a peachy matte pink shade.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
This mascara does a good job of lengthening the lashes more than volumising them. It really gives definition to the eyes, nothing “dramatic.” It doesn’t clump and can’t hold curls up, so you’ll have to curl your lashes again after it dries. Even if it claims to be waterproof. it comes off quickly in contact with water. It is formulated without parabens and it contains a film-forming polymer for smudge-proof, all day wear and unique peptides for the deepest, intense black possible.
Overall, I absolutely adore this holiday set and I love how Too Face have color co-ordinated each set. You may separate the palettes as gifts and you could totally use the box to store your fave bits or just add it as a beautiful prop to your vanity. The powders are all creamy and nicely pigmented. I love this and if I had to keep one of this palette, I would keep Au Naturale.
