Swatch & My opinion about  Rainforest Coconut Hair Oil

Though the oil looks yellowish, its infact colourless, It is light weight and smells like cocoa butter with a slight coconut smell….I massage the oil onto my scalp and leave it for about an hour before washing…I follow this twice a week…This is infact a second bottle….Me and my husband use this and we both love this oil….

This treatment makes my hair look healthy and nourished. After using this hair oil my hair feels a lot more smoother and manageable. it does a wonderful job in deep conditioning the hair, and make it frizz-free, tangle free and  so is easier  to run fingers through my hair.  My hair  appear shiny as well. I have no hair fall, so I can’t comment on how good it is in stopping hair fall problems…
The fact that everyone should keep in mind that, One needs to be really patient while using oils, as it takes a long time to show up the results…
My hair feels a lot thicker, shiny and healthier after using this…
Prior to this I used to mix Castor oil, Almond oil, Olive Oil and use it twice a week!!
Now, I moved to coconut oil and I am completely loving the transition…
Also, You don’t need lot of oil. You just need lil bit to cover the entire scalp and roots…

Pros

  • makes hair manageable, frizz free and shiny
  • light weight
  • pleasant fragrance for some(I have a love hate relationship with this fragrance, sometimes i like it, and sometimes  I don’t
  • conditions the hair leaving hair smooth
  • doesn’t make hair look greasy
  • easily available from Body Shop outlets nationwide
  • cruelty free product
  • free from parabens and silicones
Cons
  • I can’t think of any con other than the price tag of 645 INR and ya, you need a lil more shampoo than usual to wash off the oil from your hair!!
I am completely satisfied with the quality of the product and I highly recommend this to all who are looking for a good hair oil for repairing dry and damaged hair…

Have you guys tried The Body Shop New Rainforest Coconut Hair Oil ? Do you like it?

Bye dearies….have a great week ahead!

I’m not a hair-oil person but I love the way you have taken the pics – specially the first one with the cute basket – and nice new blog layout 🙂
