A lot of people suffer from clogged pores. The pores on your skin get clogged with oil, dead skin cells, and everyday dirt. It is very important to keep the pores free of clogs to prevent blackheads and acne. The best way to get rid of clogged pores is to follow a good daily skin care routine. Regular exfoliation of your skin will remove dead skin cells, oil, dirt and other impurities that lead to clogged pores. I make sure I exfoliate my face everyday. For every day exfoliation- I use handmade scrubs from Gia Bath & Body Works & Juicy Chemistry. I also make sure I deep exfoliate my face using a good scrub every week.  I don’t stick to one particular brand when it comes to scrub. I experiment a lot with facial scrubs and in today’s post- I am reviewing a facial exfoliator from the ApiNoursih Range by Manuka Doctor.

My experience using Manuka Doctor ApiNourish Polishing Facial Exfoliator
The texture of the product is really creamy with tiny granules for exfoliation. Now, The harshness level depends on how you massage it onto your face. I mainly target it on certain areas of my face – such as around my mouth and nose area.  I go for a medium level massage and this granules help me exfoliate the nose area ad around my mouth and help me get rid of any blackheads. This exfoliator has purified bee venom in it. So, if you are allergic to bee venom- it’s not for you. This product leaves the area smooth after washing. Granules can be too harsh if you don’t use it in the right way. But I won’t tell it’s as harsh as LUSH ocean Salt. It does the job wonderfully.

Overall, One must exfoliate with utmost care and depending on the skin type/skin sensitivity . This will determine the frequency of exfoliation. Smell of this is quite pleasant. After you wash off the scrub using warm water- Make sure you moisturise the area. I use a serum/rosehip oil as soon as I dry my face with a towel after exfoliation. Undoubtedly, this exfoliator does wonders in clearing out the pores.  It helps reduce excess oil on the skin and tighten the skin pores. Also, the manuka honey keep the skin hydrated. My skin never felt dry after using this. However, its not for everyday use.
