If you are a regular reader of my blog- You would probably know how much I love skincare products especially, Face Serums. I am doing a treatment, microdermabrasion for my skin and so, I avoid all kind of products that is formulated with harsh chemicals.

In my skincare routine, I like to layer different skincare products. My skin is very sensitive & acne-prone. Skin type is Combination (oily T Zone) and also have dry patches and redness around my nose.

I have been using and testing this product for over 8 weeks now. Now, there is 4-5 uses left and I think this is a good time to talk about this product and also whether it lived upto all its expectations.

Before I even go about details such as price etc, Let me start with a small disclaimer – This review is not sponsored in any way. All opinions are my own. Having a sensitive skin is no joke. If something won’t suit my skin- It immediately shows up on my skin in the form of rashes, spots, breakouts etc. Most of the serums or oils I tried are little bit heavy on skin and would start working only after initial days of breakouts, spots etc. It’s always scary when a product when tried initially gives such breakouts/skin rashes. I would say I am rather impatient to wait for long time for the results to show up. When it comes to skincare, There are only a couple of brands I trust and I use their products regularly for my skincare routine. When I was sent this serum from Savar, and when I read about the wonderful ingredients its formulated with- I didn’t had to think twice to actually start using it. I am in my late twenties. After 2 years I will hit 30 :/ lets not talk about it 🙂 I don’t have any fine lines or wrinkles on my skin yet, I think using good skincare products and help prevent the ageing of skin is important for a person who is of my age.

Now, the million dollar question – How I use it

I take off all my makeup using a cleansing balm and I wash my face using a cleanser. Gently wipe off the water using a muslin cloth. I then spray a hydrating mist toner all over my face and then after 2 minutes or so- I take 4-5 drops of this and apply it all over my face avoiding  under eye area. I then use my regular moisturier + rosehip oil/daily revive concentrate (day) or moisturiser + midnight recovery (night). In simple words after cleansing and toning and  before recovery oils & moisturiser.

As this is oil free- It can be used by all oily skin too. It takes about a minute to get fully absorbed to my skin. On the day of doing the microdermabrasion treatment – I apply only this + moisturiser. It takes out all my redness and rashes left from the treatment. In general, I never had any rashes or breakouts after using this product. It has a kiwi + berry fruit smell which is natural.

Formulated with ingredients that are super rich in antioxidants and vitamins C and E to target fine lines, helps even your skin tone, enhance and brighten your complexion, nourish, rejuvenate and help reduce the appearance of fine lines, make your skin soft and supple etc. It does brighten the acne spots. Helps tightens the skin. My skin feels very nourished, smooth and healthy.

Only on those days of treatment – I feel little bit of stickiness that goes off within a minute of applying. But- That’s completely normal, Because, on the day of treatment my skin will be super dry and irritated.

Otherwise, It’s very light weight on skin, and as its oil free, its not at all greasy on skin. It gets absorbed super quick and blends easily on the skin leaving it hydrated day & night.

Overall, This is a super light-weight, non greasy serum that absorbs super quick onto the skin. It is great for oily skin beauties too as this product is completely oil-free. Suits sensitive skin as well. It smells like kiwi fruit & berries and has a clear color. The dropper makes it super easy to control the amount of product you dispense each time without any mess. As it’s light weight and absorbs quickly- You can use other skincare products easily after using this. I use it after cleansing and toning and before my moisturiser + facial oil . Helps lighten spots. Hydrates skin nicely without clogging my pores. Tightens skin and make it very smooth. No skin reactions or rashes after using this.
